The lady was an icon of the century. With all the talk about her multi-marriages, Oscars, jewelry, charity work, few people realize how devoted she was to her four children, who adored her and held her close to their hearts. When she died, all of them (as well as her grandchildren) were at her bedside. All of them are carrying on with her work to help people with AIDS. She was a true humanitarian.
I love Elizabeth Taylor. I saw her in person in 1987 when she launched her Passion perfume. I was born on her birthday, February 27th, and she died on my father's birthday, March 23rd. Strange.
Absolutely, stunning beyond belief in that movie. And you know, as a child in National Velvet, you could see what a beauty she would be, a gorgeous child as well!
She was truly the most beautiful woman in the world for a long time. An unusual but talented woman, who was always a friend of the underdog, and was never afraid to show it!
No, was not disrespectful to all things egyptian. She was at that time, hollywoods most beautiful & respected actress with unique features-she was a white woman with VIOLET eyes (not blue) which is a rare feature to have when people are born & more rare than people who have blue eyes, plus naturally black hair, plus her birthstone month is february which is the violet color "amethyst" stone too, so hollywood gave her one of the greatest leading woman role in history that, not only befitted Ms.Taylors younger, natural, UNIQUE beauty but surpassed it in all categories of that now famous role in which she played & became an icon in the movie industry for her unique beauty & great acting capability ever since she was a child star in her childhood years too. She was a true living legend & known by name throughout the world. 💜💜🌍🎬🎥⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I wish the Oscar's had had a fitting tribute to the last true movie star, instead of the 3 seconds in the middle of the In Memoriam segment. Elizabeth Taylor WAS the Oscars for the previous 40 years.
I'm not so sure what you mean by that, but accordin' to your name, I dunno if you're a boy or a girl, and if you were a girl and you were called that, you wouldn't like it, so don't say it please, it isn't nice.
It's sad in a sense, that this country worships beauty. And those with that beauty will extend their desires to the point of extravagence, pain inflecting, nacisstic, self love, who has repeated " if there is something you want..TAKE IT, always love yourself first." and being married 8 times, destroying marriages...does not impress me. Sorry.

Her best movie was Cleopatra with the beautiful makeup & beautiful costumes she wore in the role of cleopatra-was stunning in that movie!
I'm sorry, but that role was disrespectful to all things Egyptian. She does not look anything Egyptian.

We miss 😢 you ❤ Elizabeth Taylor 😢 ❤ 💔 💙
Oh she knew Michael Jackson damn
If Mike Todd hadn't died, then Richard Burton and all the other husbands would never have had a chance with Elizabeth.
My Mom said Mike Todd was the love of her life!
Is there a part 2 for this?
I hope she found MJ she really cared about him & had a special friendship with him they'd be very happy together I reckon x
E cada comentário mais estúpido!
LOLOL....I agree!
She's with Michael now
I agree with you, they are having Christmas together again. What a wonderful friend ship they had
the thirteenth doctor who I doubt that! She loved and helped others...Michael was neurotic and was obsessed with SELF!
Im henry the 8th I am!
I hope Elizabeth and Richard have the opportunity to reconcíliate and I hope Richard Burton is not with other women in heaven 😅
HER EYES WERE BLUE BARBARA WALTERS.
Beverly Hartshorn violet.
Beverly Hartshorn violet many people who saw her closely they stated the fact her eyes were violet,my grandmother had violet eyes too.
NO. HER EYES WERE VIOLET. USUALLY VIOLET. IN SOME LIGHT, YES TGEY WERE BLUE. BUT, USUALLY THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VIOLET COLOR YOU EVER SAW!!!!

Ugh why does Michael Jackson always come in as one of her most important people ? He was a freak of nature.
Because she wasn't as superficial as you.
