Banks are the most heavily regulated industry by the government, the fact that a bank can close ANYONE's account who was not doing anything illegal AND defaming or mentioning the bank itself should be impossible. For example if Nigel Farage never publicly mentioned or talked poorly or positively about the banks he was using and did nothing illegal, this should have never been possible, hands down.

I am far from rich, living on my pension and some savings put aside over many years. A weekly insert of an Italian leftist newspaper had on the cover a huge yacht costing many million Euros, in front of which were posing some 350 persons that had been involved for a year from inception, design to construction, furnishings .... and so on, to complete it. Many criticized this WASTE of money that could have been better used, instead I saw that it had given "work" to so many, and as it is known, for every wage/salary worker, up to six others benefit by induction, such as the grocer, baker, butcher .... The more rich persons are in a country, one can deduct that there is less poverty.
My thanks go to Nigel Farage for giving us thoughts worth listening to.

I left UK in the 80’s and are exempt from paying tax in England. I consider Europe (EU) a place that has achieved teaching its citizens that it is asocial if you do not park with at least 50-75% of your hard earned money in taxes. Whereby not doing so would make all having such a higher level of prosperity and chance. Actually than ever. Here to we only have to examine China, USA, Taiwan, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapur and Dubai. In next Argentina. That are all the future of the world not Europe. The problem in Europe is that politicians simply are not clever enough to deal with the competition.

Firstly it has made it much more difficult for UK citizens to go where they are treated best. Taxes in the UK have increased significantly since Brexit. Infrastructure has fallen apart. Looking at Britain as a business model you would never leave the largest free trade area in the world. If somebody did that in business they would be fired. Just look at countries like Bulgaria who are in the EU but taxes are low 10%. I would like to ask Nigel why is no other country in the EU/EEA area considering leaving? If you’re not rich and forced to live in the US, as Farage says not everyone can move around freely unless they are rich, you have plan your taxes or have a tax strategy. I paid over 20,000 dollars in taxes only making 20,000 dollars partly due to stocks. It was close to 100,000 dollars in taxes the year before. I could have offset the tax burden/capital gains say if I had real estate or sold stocks, bitcoin when they were low. Moving to a foreign country, denouncing one’s citizenship, is simply too risky if you don’t have enough passive income. It’s also messed up how it’s hard to seek asylum from the US since it’s not the free country with a stellar human rights record it portrays to be.

We never broke laws and always respected each countries customs, etc. We found we could have gotten residency in quite a few countries, you just have to patiently learn - study the requirements, follow the rules and you can do this. Exactly right, and that’s why the UK economy is so bad. Lack of disposable income. A vast majority of what everyone earns goes to landlords to pay off their buy to let mortgages (banks) or to pay mortgages (banks). It’s why the high street is all but dead. High business rates, high rental costs, high energy costs, high taxation, no disposable income for customers to buy anything.

Basically, Nigel screwed the UK over. Now Brits have to start hunting for alternate passports. I am sure that makes for a lot of clients for boutique consulting firms such as Nomad Capitalist so Andrew is possibly elated to have Nigel as a guest. As far as Farage is concerned, he can just play the "brexit wasn't done the way I wanted it", "Conservatives are bad, labour is worse", "labour is bad, conservatives are worse", "UKIP was infiltrated by the Tories", "Reform UK is infiltrated by XYZ" games forever.
      He is NO hero.

Vernet and his family, along with 23 other Argentine families, lived in Islas Malvinas until January 3, 1833, when the islands were occupied by the British. Mr Farage is missing some important part of the history of Malvinas.

    Free market, agreed.
Not playing little tricks, like push up the minimum wage, personal allowance stay the same and pull the 45% income tax from 145k to 125k.
The government should give better direction. Where is UK going? Where is all the tax money going ?
I don’t understand why the government always broke.
20% vat on most of the items.
    20% corporation tax
    38% dividends tax
You guys are driving people away, as Farage says.
