    I bought a generic 5-in-1 and am excited to use it; the machine you have is similar to mine but I really was hoping to see how to set up the mug press because the booklet wasn't very helpful on where/how those two brackets connect to the press and machine itself. I am going to mostly be doing mugs and shirts

    That thing is really cool!!! Great review and demo!!! I am adding it to my wish list. I like how you are wearing your brand in the video. I want to eventually start wearing shirts with my logo on them in my videos too.

    Oddly I purchased the 6 in 1 for less than the 5 in 1. Will arrive tomorrow but I am upgrading from a 12x10 and excited to have this 15x15.

    So I have a similar heat press looks almost exactly the same. Have you used this enough to experience that the arm to adjust the pressure is grinding and leaving metal power/shavings down at the base? I mean it still works fine but big issue is that metal powder is hard to clean up it's constantly there and when you press things like hoodies or shirts the overlap will of course touch it and ruin the new shirts especially white for sublimation. It's a working press but there is tiny things that make it a pain. Like the adjustment knob for the pressure is hardly holding on and can just fall off. And preventing your press from opening. Which is bad if there is something under it. I have it temporarily rigged with tape but i can't do anything to crazy because that screw keeping the knob onto the press loosens just a tiny bit and it falls off. So everytime I use it I have to tighten it. Just leaving the Allen wrench there to have quick access. It's so crazy it only take a tiny turn to be locked in but looking at it without the knob head it literally has a tiny space to catch under a bolt to stay attached. It is the worst design ever. But with it all rigged and with the knowledge of how easily it comes apart I have it under control.

      Nope. I haven’t had any issues with mine as of yet. I don’t use it as nearly as much as I’d like though!!!

    Can you please give us an update on continued use since purchasing this item? How's it holding up? Any changes in quality? Any issues with it?

      Hi Kelly! So far so good honestly. I don’t use it often but I havnt had any issues yet! I plan on doing more with it in 2023 so we shall see. All in all I’m happy with the purchase!

      @KalindsLife sounds great, thank you for the prompt response! I'm just looking for something for personal, occasional use for myself and family/friends. I'm having a hard time sifting through reviews because I don't need something industrial but I'd still like it to last me a while. Thanks for the video and again, for the feedback!

    my heat press keeps on clicking. Can you please tell me what it is? Nothing in my book about it.

    • @TheCrawlspaceCraftsman
      @TheCrawlspaceCraftsman  Год назад

      I’m not really sure other than that might be the heating element powering on and off. If it get to temp and stays there then maybe it’s not something to worry about. If you’re concerned maybe send it back and exchange it out.

      I have another brand heat press and mine started clicking and my daddy replaced relay switch. It has once again gone out so I am looking to purchase new press instead of replacing relay switch! I ve had it for about 7-8 years and it was well worth money. Just my experience with clicking noise! Oh my relay switch with shipping was about $45 maybe 5 years ago!

    i found that for hats this one is pretty bad. sublimation too. their own videos only show application being done on the brim of the hat :(

    • @TheCrawlspaceCraftsman
      @TheCrawlspaceCraftsman  Год назад

      I too recommend a different style for hats. If your not doing many it’s ok…. But if you create a lot…. It’s not convenient to use! Thanks for watching!
