Well I think it has to do with conflicting interests and the massive amount of fandoms. There's more fandoms in ponytown than regiments or species. They should be able to get along, but I guess the ones that don't lack maturity and common sense to just hang out somewhere else

Some people said they owned it and kept coming by me and my friend who weren't even by it and started saying that we were trespassing.Then they blocked the entry to it and when we walked over them they watered saying we were disrespectful to their touch trigger and that we are gonna get banned for walking over them even though they were blocking the opening for it
I remember how in 2018 this fights happend all the time just because you stepped on one pixel of some fandom zone in other fandom skin... Now i almost never see people fighting for territory. I'm glad now it's not such a big problem as before 🤓☠️

Fandoms change locations all the time. I remember a long time ago when the Homestuck ponies use to occupy one area of the map but now they are in a different area. This turf war thing is dumb. There is enough area for everyone on the map. Sometimes you have change location for whatever reason.

As a part of the countryhumans fandom,I do agree with you. I usually sit around the bakery area bcuz that's where I meet most of my fellow ch roleplayers. I do walk around peeking at other fandoms or even make friends with them! There was one time tho I stepped into bnha fandom while wearing my ch skin,they told me to get off their area and I don't belong there. Kinda upsetting but ehh,things happen.. I didn't really know this drama happened a while ago until I saw this, mainly because I stay in the Safe Chinese more often. To be honest, you don't really need to fight over a spot. In Safe Chinese, lots of fandom stay in the same area (the spawn) and a few ppl from another fandom sometimes go to another fandom just to chill or talk to their friends.
I think people need to realize the fandom maps are a general guide to find other people not an ownership of that area. As part of the She-Ra fandom I am glad the Steven Universe fandom who also uses the same spot is mature enough to share it. As well as a couple other fandoms that use that same spot.

Its not just that fandom that is upset about this since that area is home to different fandoms. For example one server may call that the country human fandom and another might call it fnaf area or anything else. It's an "issue" that multiple fandoms had to face when the bakery was placed. Some handled it fine and others handled it poorly. But its not just that one case that this video addresses. It addresses how other people pretend to own part of the map too

It amazes me that people have developed such an acute sense of phantom touch that you can feel what happens to a 16-bit pony. touch-trigger is not the correct term for this, it's really weird you people don't even know the name of your own phobia, also, phantom touches only exist on hyper-detailed games (ie, red dead 2) or VR games (ie, VR chat). Also, it's so weird that this "touch-trigger" only exists in the MCYT area on the 18+ server, which, I happened to have gone to quite often, and it only has been a thing for about a month or two now. As someone who was medically diagnosed with haphephobia, (the REAL term for fear of being touched) it makes me so frustrated that people like you are making a blatant mockery of it. I have to live through this every day, meanwhile, you put "TT" in your name because you are following some dumb trend.
@@Ethereal_Divinity I've seen people with so-called "Touch Triggers" outside of the MCYT spot, it pretty much gained a really suspicious amount of traction across the game in such a small time, ended up just ignoring it at this point since I can't be expected to mouse over every pony (or read their terrible Carrds) in order to know something like this, sometimes I just like to wander around and that means I'm highly likely to go past a few ponies accidentally. Unfortunately its kind of just a general trend to be pretty abelist at the moment online, thanks to TikTok/Twitter of course, and I'm sure this TT thing is part of that, with people self diagnosing themselves with some pretty serious conditions for the sake of clout, and spreading blatant misinformation at the same time. I'm sorry to hear about your haphephobia though. I have no clue what its really like, but, from what I've learned it seems to be pretty terrible, certainly something underage kids on 18+ shouldn't be mocking. If there's one thing I'm happy about though, at least a decent portion of PT is also skeptical about the whole TT thing, and we even had a discussion about it in the supporters Discord where we openly voiced our skepticism. I hope this disgusting trend will blow over soon, chances are people will have to just ignore/refuse interaction with anyone with a TT/TD in their name and not get into any fights that they purposely seek out (notice how they're always in crowded places like spawn and the docks, as well as the bakery when it was just new?) really makes me wish for something like 2017 PonyTown to come back to be brutally honest.

i personally didnt watch the video with audio but i wanted to talk about this aswell as an normal ponytown player, fandom areas have always been their own thing and had their own problems, i seen a lot in only 2 years of playing. areas are a mess. and tbh i dont get it why people fight over it- areas can be nice if you want to know where to go and meet other fans of a game, tv media, youtube media and etc but at this point its just ridiculous.
people were fighting about that? i have never seen people fighting in the spanish server-

@@dannyballsub But people need to know tbh. its ableist that over 20-30% of pt (mostly on the 18+ server) is mocking an actual thing, an actual trauma response. :/ it only started like what, a month ago? now over 50 people who play ponytown on the 18+ server have it? i counted at least 50, and it wasn't even the entire map. i was hoping it'd blow over like every other trend, but its not.
It amazes me that people have developed such an acute sense of phantom touch that you can feel what happens to a 16-bit pony.
touch-trigger is not the correct term for this, it's really weird you people don't even know the name of your own phobia, also, phantom touches only exist on hyper-detailed games (ie, red dead 2) or VR games (ie, VR chat). Also, it's so weird that this "touch-trigger" only exists in the MCYT area on the 18+ server, which, I happened to have gone to quite often, and it only has been a thing for about a month or two now.
As someone who was medically diagnosed with haphephobia, (the REAL term for fear of being touched) it makes me so frustrated that people like you are making a blatant mockery of it. I have to live through this every day, meanwhile, you put "TT" in your name because you are following some dumb trend.
@@Ethereal_Divinity I've seen people with so-called "Touch Triggers" outside of the MCYT spot, it pretty much gained a really suspicious amount of traction across the game in such a small time, ended up just ignoring it at this point since I can't be expected to mouse over every pony (or read their terrible Carrds) in order to know something like this, sometimes I just like to wander around and that means I'm highly likely to go past a few ponies accidentally. Unfortunately its kind of just a general trend to be pretty abelist at the moment online, thanks to TikTok/Twitter of course, and I'm sure this TT thing is part of that, with people self diagnosing themselves with some pretty serious conditions for the sake of clout, and spreading blatant misinformation at the same time.
I'm sorry to hear about your haphephobia though. I have no clue what its really like, but, from what I've learned it seems to be pretty terrible, certainly something underage kids on 18+ shouldn't be mocking. If there's one thing I'm happy about though, at least a decent portion of PT is also skeptical about the whole TT thing, and we even had a discussion about it in the supporters Discord where we openly voiced our skepticism.
I hope this disgusting trend will blow over soon, chances are people will have to just ignore/refuse interaction with anyone with a TT/TD in their name and not get into any fights that they purposely seek out (notice how they're always in crowded places like spawn and the docks, as well as the bakery when it was just new?) really makes me wish for something like 2017 PonyTown to come back to be brutally honest.
