  • In the wake of allegations that the NDA government placed several Non-Money Bills as Money Bills in Lok Sabha to avoid scrutiny in Rajya Sabha, where it did not have enough numbers, CJI DY Chandrachud has agreed to consider a plea for the urgent formation of a seven-judge Constitution Bench to examine the issue. The Acts thus passed include the Aadhaar Act and amendments to the PMLA Act. But can the Supreme Court now strike down those decisions?
