Thanks for sharing all these patches. I've owned both the Mother 32 and the DFAM for about a year, but have found it difficult to get them to work together. I can't wait to experiment with these patches.
In patch #6 is the slight swing in DFAM being generated by Mother-32 clock? If so, can the DFAM achieve that on it’s own. (And I’m talking about the “slight” swing. I’ve seen that there’s a way to get a “triplet” feel within the DFAM.) Thanks.
Lot's of amazing sounds. I'm not sure how well I'd be able to incorporate these bloops and bleeps into my music, but man...it sure would be fun to play with these things!
You can lost in this for HOURS…my favourite style of meditation…. Even though you are a guitarist, going back to the likes of Brian Eno, you will hear how these sounds can be incorporated…. David Bowie worked with him on the Berlin trilogy and helped produce the epic Heroes…. There are plenty of examples of how to use modular sounds with guitars…. You can here Danny Moroder incorporating one into Blondie’s Heart of Glass… you’ll find Moog’s influence and inclusion in many rock hits along with a myriad of other synths throughout 70s and 80s …
Great patches here thanks - my Mother 32 has gone out of tune, octaves now out for no apparent reason :-( any pointers where to look for instructions to fix it as scared to mess around with it.TIA
Some help, please. The Barrel-to-Barrel Power Distribution Cables that go from the mixer to the synthesizer. Mine came with a dead cable. Does anybody know the specs to look for when finding a replacement?
Does Moog plan to offer the summing mixer separately or only bundled with a purchase of one of the synth studio packages? I already have all 3 of their compact semi-modular synths. It would be a very useful addition!!
Because hipsters have money? Also it is 2021, are you really still using "hipster"? I'm sure someone considers you a hipster for even knowing a what Moog is. Everyone is someone else's hipster, ya dig? Go find something meaningful to complain about.
What does this even mean? Why do boring people insist on labelling anything that has character or artistic flair 'hipster' like its some kind of insult?
Want a closer look at Fess’s patches?
We made DIAGRAMS!

I wish I could just play with synths all day
I know that feel.
Beautiful demo. And really helpful to understand what this package is. Cheers.
Man, You must have take lots of dedicated time to come up with these very useful patches! Kudos mang!
Excellent video, Fess. Great patches, great presentation! Always inspiring to watch a pro!
Loved every second of this. Thanks!

Reverb, give Fess a raise. Excellent product demo.

Lovely kits, they sound so good
Sounds sick!!!!
Moog should sell an adapter so you can incorporate the MINITAUR into a 4 tier rack with MOTHER, DFAM, & SUBHARM.
I'm a guitar player, so I have very little knowledge about these but, oh man, they look fun.

I’m pretty sure the manual has information about calibration. If not you could always send it back to Moog for repair. Good luck!
Some help, please.

I want to be able to purchase that summing mixer/power distributor. Separately!
me too!

Great stuff
Hi all I am new at this, are you able to save the sequence and patch settings?
Ali's Bubblin is reaaaaaaally crazy 😧

I don't know the answer to that but i hope so! could be very useful for current owners
That first patch is legit as fuck.
On the mother 32 on some of these patches I see the sequencer skipping around out of order. How is that happening?
the random note mode, part of the new firmware update for mother 32 is different sequencer play functions like reverse, pendulum and.. random!
@@fessgrandiose Woah cool! I gotta firmware update
@@fessgrandiose and today I updated. A lot of new good functionality
❤❤❤
Can you turn the summing mixer OFF ? I believe the lack of a power switch on some of these modules is an issue.
You can unplug it, or any of the modules. Of course remember that the tuning is a big unsteady until they warm up.
this host looks and sounds like MikeWillMadeIt
lol
😎
Hhahahahahaha #8 “microdose " ahahahahahah😂
how much is the mixer thing alone?
Not available.

what a weird gimmick from moog
Why does Moog feel they have to pander to hipsters?
Because hipsters have money?
