Charging Lithium Batteries and Why I Don't Bother Charging Them in Series

Like many builders, I use a pair of 12v Lithium batteries connected in series to provide 24v to my R2D2. In this video, I share some of the things I've learned about how lithium batteries should be charged, as well as a few nuances that ultimately convinced me that it simply isn't worth trying to charge them while connected in series.
I purchased my batteries from Dakota Lithium, and use their 12v 3A charger to charge them individually, outside of R2.

Nice idea with the fusion generator. I printed mine off Thingiverse years ago. I think some people modified theirs to run the power through it to the R2 for that extra spicy authenticity. :)
Then there are those who printed the droid stand seen in episode 1. I have that on file. ;)
