The best way to destroy the plane, is shoot the first truck fuel tank as the plane passes by, it will destroy one engine and then wait while plane turns around, change distance on sniper rifle to 200m and shoot the other engine as many times as you need. It was the hardest times in this game as I finished the game on authentic difficulty.
I shot the dudes shooting at me on the tarmac first...then as the plane came back over the airfield one shot to the missile underneath took care of it.
Just shoot the bomb when he circles back around I did it with one bullet and got my longest shot of over 600 meters with it. Although I think the distance was more luck than anything
I destroyed the plane on the ground before it even made a u-turn by shooting really fast the 2 engines using the sniper gun. You just have to be very fast and accurate

I put mines in the doorway where he comes from and after the cutscene (with no kaboom when there is 1 teller mine and 1 trip) And they were not diffused
to down the plane, all you need to do is let it take off and after it turns around and flies back over the runway, shoot the missile it's carrying. job done
Is it just me or is it impossible to beat this mission without having your cover blown? I had the same issue with Sniper Elite 3. The final boss fight (shooting the hook thing) counted as a miss despite being a required shot to win the mission, thus it was impossible to play the campaign and get a 100% rifle accuracy.
Will SOMEONE finally tel me what the f@ck must I do, in order for Bohm to speak and when I shoot the missile the hidden achievement to be registered as it should? This game has many problems. One of them, is this one.
