- In this video, my friend Scott (a.k.a. "Maverick") from our local AeroJunkies RC flying group is attempting the maiden flight of his new Durafly Goblin Racer with mixed success:

After a couple of unsuccessful launches, his Goblin survives several crashes over tall glass and bushes, and finally takes flight. In Scott's own words, it is "a heart pounder"!
Thank you very much for watching. If you liked this video, please give it a thumbs-up. I hope you are part of this amazing hobby, or at least considering to join, because it is so much fun (with occasional heartbreaks when you crash and damage an aircraft).
Stay safe and healthy! Cheers! - Наука

Yeah, flies fast!
Hello, did you make the modification recommended by the manufacturer concerning the installation of a washer behind the motor to allow a downward push? What type of battery do you use? Thanks
I was gonna buy one of these but maybe not lol I have an AR wing tho
Hi the canapé fell off as soon as he threw it and there is a really issue with not enough weight in the front of these planes.
Hi Jonathan. Yes, we did not realize it while I was recording the video. We saw it later when we were watching the video. So we will be looking for the canopy this weekend, if the weather is good for flying tomorrow or on Monday. Cheers!
You need a 260gr battery 4s ... throtle 70% and hold the goblin at the overside near the canape at the start ... atention, warbirds and racers will roll to the left side .rhatvis normal... greetings from germany
Greetings Bud's Detailing. Thank you, I will let my friend Scott know the next time he is planning to fly his Goblin. I also have a Goblin (yellow version), and its hand-launch was successful the first time (but then I crashed it while I was doing a fast-and-low pass. It is waiting for some spare parts.

2200 battery too heavy???
tail heavy?
Gee, what a flying brick. It was tale heavy right?
Hi LAPEOS RC. No, I think it was nose-heavy with the 2200mAh battery and not trimmed well. Once trimmed, it was flying well with the 1500mAh 4S battery.
