I enjoy this sword quite a bit. It's not perfect, but it's very pleasant to handle and use, and has lots of subtle features that are not commonly found on katana in this price range.
Something else I also agree with I have two romance of men swords one being the white demon katana the other being a dao. They're both pretty good swords for the money. Absolutely the specific sword isn't your thing or so a little bit out of your budget what you want a decent katana or Chinese sword they probably have something that will suit your needs.
Excellent review. Very professionally done. You are getting very good at this. PS. You could screw a piece of plywood on top of your stand and make it like new. Unless the top has deteriorated too much of course.
Thanks! So I've had a piece of wood on top of my stand before, but I'm not thrilled using metal to attach it since I've missed the target more often than I'd like to admit, and I'd rather not miss bad enough to hit the metal screw...
@@alientude Understandable but if you use screws only in the middle it's very unlikely that you would hit them. Then again why risk it when replacing the 4x4 isn't very expencive.
I did something similar I made my own cutting stands out of scrap what I had laying around don't mind you there no beauty contest winners but definitely a lot safer more stable than cardboard boxes that I was using before. For the tops of them the platforms were the target sit I use a piece of old fence slat seeing as I have tons of broken pieces laying around from repairs I cut the light section that I want from the scrap add secours on the post part nicely with two screws. Not only is it a cheap way to recycle wood but the platform is just the right size to put gallon jugs on etcetera without a platform being too big so I can concentrate more on hitting the Target in the less worried about hitting the platform. Especially since I'm mostly blind LOL. That and it takes almost no time to replace the top platform if it does break or something. Kane Shen shared a great idea with me and that is to use insulation board especially if you do want a bigger platform that way if you miss and you do hit it it's a lot less likely to damage your sword etcetera.
Really good looking sword! I love the hamon on this one, rom really does a great job with their blades. Once again nice cutting kyle 🤘💀 like you said on a small stand like that there's not much wiggle room. I wouldn't be surprised if you got more statics if you had a bit bigger base. My stand is in rough shape too lol. My big ass swords keep loping big chunks off it. And going for stacked bottle double cuts has really exacerbated the problem lol.

I agree though I kind of feel like the more fancy hand-painted scabbard bring us together the entire look of the whole piece.
This saya an appearance isn't too bad though. At least it didn't go with like a plain black scabbard or something like that
This sword is beautiful, I think the shrimp design is nice and unique.

Another great review! And I could feel your pain about dropping it, my friend!
