Bina you never disappoint, you are a true LE master. I followed your build when I went to Monos at level 30 using totally random unoptimised Uniques I had in stash and I had no trouble at all. Now at 55 with 2-3 items I found/crafted on the way, I'm owning those monos! Can't wait to progress even further!

thank for the guide. first pure caster I've tried in LE and I really like it. The runic invocation stuff was too much work so I swapped it for glyph of domination which procs at the end of every flame rush landing. its much lazier and has lot of fun visual effects. :D

The building is impressive, GJ! If anybody is struggling with mana, as I was since I don't have a -5 weapon, just remove a point from Frost Claw-Volley of Glass. It solved all my mana problems, and it didn't make that much of a difference in the overall damage. Maybe because it is still applying the DOTs, and I can hold it firing the whole time.
Yeah I tried that and literally holding down 1 button and I don't ever run out and you are right the dmg is still amazing! Thanks for the tip!
i love this build and the T7 spell dmg and reduced mana cost is a real pain but functions great still with T5 and idols

I build this one the last 24hrs for people like me that have no equipment for this build and wanna start with this maybe some tips:
1. This build starts clicking once you have a Scepter/Wand that has -4 or -5 spell mana cost. It's not mandatory you can start with 3 but you will have some mana issues
Adding to this.. I just played the built a bit different and didn't add the last point into a crack in the ice to save some mana till I had the -5 spell mana cost scepter.
2. Really keep Nova at 0 mana cost ... you can play a bit with the points in the passive tree of the nova spell to keep it 0. He gives some good tips in the video.
3. Two Idols with Mana efficiency are also quite mandatory as point 1 so this build really clicks.
Super fun build once you get the mana management done you nearly unkillable with enough ward and you can focus on damage and resistances.
Good tips, I am level 70 and I have mana issue, I compensated for that with mana regen before obtaining the -4/-5 mana cost, my Nova Elem cost 2 mana and Frost Claw 7 mana, with the mana regen I can play relatively correctly
Really enjoying the build so far, a little tricky to keep up with the rapid fire changes in the past week but I think I understand it better now thanks to this video. One thing I feel like pointing out, as a brand new player I didn't know that each skill gets 20 points max without items. Thus, when I first made the build strictly following the skill point progression as it shows on Maxroll it has the Frost Claw skill to activate Elemental Nova as the 21st point, therefore I was not activating nova until I rearranged the points - once I got the Uhkeiros relic this point became moot.
In addition, the loot filter worked pretty good at first until I got to empowered monoliths and ended up seeing a whole bunch of junk even though I kept the Strict ones checked and unchecked the non-strict versions. All that being said, you still have the clearest guide on Frostbite Frostclaw that I have found so far and I've been having a blast.

You dont need all this gear with 4lp to make the build work guys lol. You can get it rolling w mage weaver relic and correct affixes on your gear dont listen to these salty noobs whining about "I cant get perfect gear"

What about Prism Wraps (for damage) or Woven Flesh (for defense)? As long as I could keep my resistances caped and get some freeze rate per chill and/or chance to frostbite on legendary potential?

Hi I built the runemaster from your leveling guide and now its supposed to be sorcerrer? how can I change mastery or are there any alternative I can do for endgame runemaster?
I have 1 more question, is there any cold pen % cap for mobs ? like i have 1725% freeze rate multi and boots gives me 2% cold pen per 10% freeze rate multi, im wondering if i get more dps if i go for more.
you're gonna get more dmg by replacing some freeze rate multi with freeze rate per stack of chill, since you'll get another multiplier that way.. but afaik, there is no cap on penetration, it just has diminishing returns as you go ham on it, just like any other stat (except for frostbite on hit chance)..
Ur gonna make them put crowd control diminishing returns on the bosses lmao

I feel like this build is a lot easier to do on a Sorcerer with bad gear because of the +50 mana bonus. It makes it very easy to hit 300 mana.
Just a quick question, i picked freezing point in the passives but when I wear a item with chance to shred armour on hit the change for frostbite doesn’t change in my character stats. Is that normal ?

What gear level is required to perma freeze T4 Julra? This seems more manageable to get going than the spark charge variant, that pretty much requires you to hit that t6/7 frost claw on relic.
Also wondering - I have over 2400% freeze rate and it doesn't freeze T4 Julra
Hey Bina, how do you sustain HP without Bleeding Heart while using Twisted Heart? I'm using the old build and was looking at your update, but I don't hear you talk about HP sustain, nor do I see any on gear.

The only class i didnt played in 1.0 was mage and now that i found this build im really looking forward to play it in 1.1 cycle! I hope they dont nerf or change it to much also hope the perma boss freez still be a thing in the next cycle. Cool build!

Yeah perma freeze is not as easily achievable on high corruption vs Bosses. Im focusing more on Damage this patch. It will be one of the best DPS builds. Of course, not as much as squirrels or ZHP ballista, but still extremely high.

how are you maintaining hp without bleeding heart? I tried replacing it with eyes of formosus and even with bonus points into cold leech from sorceror tree my HP hits zero rather quickly. Is there some other form of leech im not seeing?
He has a point of leech on sorc passive tree, not sure if that's all tho
@@just_a_sushi i tried putting 5 into leech and it still wasnt enough. i had to use leech blessing to make it work without the amulet. am i not doing enough damage perhaps?

hey, i have to be missing something. i am at the "advanced gear" setup right now, due to a very late start. im having a spell cost issue with frostclaw. your guide says below 25, and i cant figure out how you are getting there other than the mod on the scepter. i dont have t7, so i am only getting -3, but that puts me at 28 mana for that spell. im having considerable mana issues on bosses, and when i cant cast, then i have survivability issues, obviously. what am i missing? i have the gift of winter nodes, obviously. i have followed the guide exactly on passives, but im only lvl 85 fwiw

Same issue, 27 claw, 1 pack of mob go oom, and is new character, don't have any of those idols, and no high level enough to get t7 - mana scepter, I mean is very fun build but LP all these "fun" build with all these "must" uniques requirements make the game not fun feels like a chore, sad bcos I really like this build, was hoping to play a forst build can faceroll like the warlock,but I just don't see how it works with the mana issue, then try other build but than hey I don't have the unique offhand.....make me want to delete the game
If you really can't sustain, don't use the bottom left nodes in frostclaw. I've played it with 25-26 mana cost just fine, but obviously lower is better
@@BinaQc @BinaQc what is the name of the node you are referring to? Right now I think I'm at 27 mana for claw. I improved my idols, but I think I can get one or two mana off the cost there. If I get the -5 Sceptre, I should be at 23 or so. That would be huge difference. I think I can change my nova tree and get that to cast for free as well.

When I watched this I wondered the same thing. On his maxroll guide in the "aspirational gear" section he's wearing a Crest of Unity helmet which makes nova all 3 elements

i am fairly new to last epoch, how do i cast Ice Fire Ice once i have "Immutable Order" skilled? flame ward is fire and the guide does not show to convert flame ward to cold :( i dont get it and its confusing and frustrating me :(
look at his toolbar it goes snap freeze - flame ward - flame rush (converted to cold with skill point)

As far as i know, its not possble to get your mana cost below 22. im at 1300 corr with this build. all bosses still perma frozen but orobys does not like to freeze anymore. idk if its because he just wont freeze often, or because its hard to sustain hits on him long enough between all the shit he keeps doing. Like if does one thing that makes you have to run around its pretty much a wrap on trying to freeze him.
May I ask how does 7 points celestial doom bonus works on branded enemies? Since I don't see how we apply brand here
Very late but you brand the mobs with your flame rush converted to cold. There is a node on the bottom left in the skill tree.
pls show me how it works on 1300 corruption and bosses as well, trying to catch up with a friend who is 1400 corr
At some point, you won't permanently freeze Bosses. If you plan on pushing super high corruption, prioritize damage affxies rather than Freeze rate per stack of chill. You will still freeze regular monsters, but not Bosses.

Hi. Unfortunately the Freezing Point node is not working. It is not just a visual bug. Totally pointless to focus on Shred Armour on hit beacuse it's not working. I check the reddit posts and the official Last Epoch forum and everyone experiences this. Maybe someone knows something about how it will be fixed with a patch?

Proccing elemental nova with frost claw does that for you.

Nice build giving this a try for my very first character as i just got the game.. Noob question because i cant seem to figure it out. How is frostclaw/ele nova getting all elements on cast when your not taking them other ele skill passives or using the helm that grants all elements? Im following the guide and in lvl 33 but my ele nova is just pure ice. Not ice, fire and possibly lightning aswell which looks like yours are. Thanks for any help.

Since your damage is Frostbite, which is Cold Damage Over Time, it increases that damage

For some reason, all I can create are frost Nova's, I never see the Elemental Nova occur. Even after taking Celestial Conflux
Look at the helmet on the build guide. It gives you bunch of points into elemental nova and gives your elemental nova all 3 element types. Without it you will only have cold. I’m playing without it and doing great but excited to get it.

Check the maxroll guide, its updated for 1.1 we now use 2 casts instead of 5 and mana cost should show 6

I was doing this build since like lvl 58 or 60. You don’t need all his crazy uniques to do it. I am blasting. I can’t wait to get many of his uniques. Especially the Helmet and the offhand.

It depends on how many elements you put points towards.

It's the unique helmet (Crest of Unity) that makes Elemental Nova tri-elemental and unlocks more points for e.g. larger area in its skill tree.

Yes you can start this before level 70. Just don't spec into the bottom left nodes which increases your mana cost too much early on

@@YeastyBoy stop the video around 8:00 for some reason, i have no idea why, the tree he shows in this video is different than the one in the written guide, it branches over into both lightning and fire, i'm guessing that's why it's different, i noticed that too but i'm only level 50ish on my runemaster, it just kind of stood out to me that the tree was different.
i think he's also using a unique helm to makes nova tri elemental

take a look at the relic you can get up to +4 if you get legendary potential on it

Hmmm I think I was lied to, I dont know if it was a tooltip or what but I was under the impression that there was no limit to stacks but I see frostbite capped out at 999.
The highest number displayed is 999 but it has no cap. If you look closely it will actually read 999+

I just got laughed at for having the 7 points in Celestial doom when that is what the guide tells me to allocate...
Celestial Doom provides Ward on Hit, which the build has a TON of. Understanding why the build takes certain passives, skills or gear affixes is important. Should you want to remove tankiness and go for more damage, that is up to you!
Hello bro, what is the best way to level up a nova elemental with a cap at +5-6 to the skill level?
I tried a couple of options:
1) go to the "Charged Destruction" with maximum AoE
2) go to "Shatter Nova"
3) go into the fire branch
4) go to the lightning branch
I can’t figure out where the higher DPS will be.
Thanks so much this looks like a cool twist on nova frostclaw❤️ Just one suggestion, you should try using last epoch tools for your build guides they're so much easier to navigate than maxroll and see what points go where and when on passives/skills. I love maxroll but their site isn't great for this game.

It's a passive skill in the sorcerer section makes him leech health on hit

Only for the specific build you are looking at. It will only show stuff that is included in the planner

This build was shown on stream permanently freezing ~1700 corruption bosses (not including shades) and can permanently freeze until around that corruption. Also, hopefully you're not a new player expecting 1k corruption to be the standard.
Wow, sounds like a bug or at least unintended that you get a chance for 12 mana for each frostclaw that's generated instead of per time you cast (press the button). That's insane. Very cool build
this builds u guys make have some item req... u need weeks to even be close to those perfect ideal stats
even a +2 +3 frost claw purple item u need tens of mils to buy, not to mention the unique with 2-3 LP and how many tries u have to do in sanctum for those stats to transfer and not some useless one.
Currently playing the build with a mage erased relic that gives +1 to mage skill, which is easy af to find don't need 90000000 ranks to frost claw bro........ hell you don't even need the gloves or the rings unless you wanna be super sweaty relax and learn how to play the game
I disagree, even though the build recommends starting with a level 70 character I went this route in my 60s and have been able to make it to empowered monoliths without a single LP item while using CoF.
How can you guys without a mana issue without the t7 -mana affixes?I don't have Idols and are not high level enough to get t7 gears, 51 doing monolith maybe too early with this build? My friend level a new mage using other fire/lightning build no issue with 56 in monolith, but he have the unique offhand and I don't
@@waku816 i used a non-frostbite build until the mid 60s then switched to this build. Use a wand at first implicit reduces mana and an affix that reduces mana. Don't put points that increase nova's spell cost until you get the right sceptre. It's pretty good if you follow his progression on Maxroll, and it does suggest using a level 70 character.

Oh come on now, you post a build with GOD tier gear to prove what? In real life (online mod) we farm for DAYS to even get one piece of these with LP2,not LP3 or 4 and even then we fail in crafting the perfect rolls! Someone would need MONTHS to farm all that perfectly rolled gear in online mode.....Please if it is possible start posting builds with average gear like the majority of players have...
He just shows aspirational gear. In the pinned written guide there's a step-by-step gear progression.
If you follow the Maxroll Runemaster leveling guide up to 70 you will have decent starting gear, then switch to this build and follow the gear progression from Starter - Advanced - End Game - Aspirational. It's very clearly laid out even for me who started this game last week. Successfully clearing Empowered Monos 200 without a single piece of LP gear so far.
I would suggest going through the gear progression section. My gear, which is no where near godly in the current state of the game with CoF and MG, is pretty cheap right now in comparison to other meta builds.
Also, this is online, and I've played this character only for a few days.
Read the guide dude. There’s gear progression up to aspirational gear. This build functions fine without insane gear.
@@bd9045 Thank you all for your answers, but please stop referring to Maxroll guide, i realize there is a guide with various gear, however i commented on the video i watched where the creator used a SPECIFIC gear to showcase his build! The efficiency of the build we watched was based on THAT specific GOD tier gear! Not on another set of gear...Also i find it VERY difficult to get all that perfectly rolled gear in some days.....Please however, accept my apologies if i am mistaken!
In any case thank you @BinaQc for your effort! :) Maybe are opinions agree in a different build you present us....
It's a bait, don't do this build.
1. Idols with total 26 mana efficiency and -5 mana on sceptre with frost claw are mandatory otherwise it's unplayable because of mana issues and these items are very, very hard to make.
2. Even with full min-maxing with 4lp acid flask, 4lp frozen ire, all BIS gear you still can't perma freeze orobyss after 800 corruption.
3. The DOT damage is sometimes not even enough to kill rare monster not the mention other bosses. Scaling DOT hits a wall after a while, so you are limited.
4. The NOVA is so eye-hurting you will literally start to cry after couple hours of playing.
There is so much misinformation and opinion based statements instead of facts with this comment, I don't even know where to start. If you don't enjoy the build don't play it, but don't bait people into thinking this build is a bait while it's one of the very best 😂
@@BinaQc I am baiting? Do you even listen to yourself? You called this trash build "the best" multiple times in your video. The build can't do more than 800 corruption unless u want to invest into the inspirational gear which is nearly impossible to get anyways. Freeze on bosses and strong rares lacks down after 1200ish corruption anyways .. it's getting almost useless at 1600+. So before you call a build "the best" at least learn the game and how specific mechanics works.
