"We are poor, but we are happy" is such an enlightened statement. You dont need fancy luxury cars, millions of dollars, giant mansions, or 4 course meals everyday. All of those material things mean nothing when it comes your time to go, and nobody is there with you.
"Riches, though glittering in allure, cannot mend the fractures of the heart nor fill the voids of the soul. "In the end, wealth is but a fleeting companion on life's journey, unable to accompany us beyond the threshold of mortality, where the true currency of the soul reigns supreme."
I remember when my mother was in a drunken stupor talking about death and how she wants somewhere with beautiful scenery to be buried at. I tell her why don't she get buried in Waikiki, she's been there once 5 years ago yet fell in love with the place completely. She tells me it'll be lonely since she doesn't know anyone there. So I tell her when I'm done with my life, I'll join her over there. Sobered her right up. Right into uncontrollable crying.

Fantastic Mr fox was one of the first ever books that I won for being on honour roll. The joy, happiness, and excitement; I couldn’t control any of it, until it got taken away. This just makes me cry
This is so deep how is this a kids movie this teaches a lesson that even if u don’t got much you still have the people around you “we are poor but we are happy”💔
My mom has always wanted to live in a big house, she constantly cries about how the house looks messy or bad and we kids deserve a better home/life like the rest of the kids that live around us. Everytime she does that I get annoyed, so I told her that even though we don't live the most luxicourius life, I don't care and I'm happy how it is now even if we were homeless I still have my siblings and parents. I love my parents and siblings and it would hurt me if I lost any of them because I treasure them the most.
I hope she understands your sentiment someday, it took mine a while to feel the same but she now believes me when i tell her that i am happy with what little we have.
Next time you tell her that, give her a hug and don't prevent yourself from crying. You never know when someone's day will come, so make those moments count.
I can't explain the feeling this movie gives me. I'm from the country side and that movie reminds me of my childhood. When I was a kid I watched old movies even though I could watch stuff like paw petrol or idk. I always have to think about the times where I had sleepovers with my grandma and my uncle build a tree house for me. It sends me chills down my spine and makes me feel comforted and I feel like I could just watch this without the school stress and mental health issues. I can just forget everything and it makes me happy and sad at the same time.
I watched that film when it was released and I was a kid. And didn't cared the details of the film that have but now just a luck that I am find out that yt short video and I just had a flashback like "This is the movie that I watched in my Childhood!"
I like the detail of the end and the start. The woman fox says “it was a good toast” then the short starts again and the guy fox is about to eat a plate of toast. Such a cool detail.
It's crazy how it makes stop motion animation feel like an actual family with its own little problems just like everyone else, what a wonderful movie ❤
I found this at 12 years old and cried cuz I didn’t realize a children’s movie could show me more than my parents have ever taught. Facing mortality is probably our biggest outlier
This movie was so emotionally striking in a way that I cannot quite put into words. Like the palpable sadness of coming home from war because everything crashes down on you at once in front of the people you love most... it hits hard.
Before I sleep I always watch this edit. The voice is so soothing, the words spoken are cherry picked, and the background music makes someone heart feel lighter than usual.
Some warm feeling, the feeling where it feels like a warm hug, him saying everything will be fine jus never give up. Following what he said, hoping the tree is still growing.
You know, I feel like Fantastic Mr Fox is one of the most underrated, overlooked, but also best movies out there. I actually JUST watched it again as an adult, and now I really understand it.
This... was one of the most unexpected movies I ever watched. When I first saw this streaming on our TV I just let it play as white noise, but eventually I got hooked and I didn't even realise how much this movie had to offer in terms of storytelling and emotional effect. It's such a masterpiece, and I'd kill to watch it for the first time again. I absolutely love this movie.
Every time I see this short, I cry, whether its sadness, happiness, or whatever emotion in the spectrum. Struggling with inner turmoil, the stress of maintaining the household and a career, or the dilemas of the world, this short helps me find some solace through it all. So thank you for this amazing edit. Its saved me from life, the world, and mostly, myself.
i grew up with this movie, and i've not seen nearly enough people talk about it. this movie has helped me find myself and watched over all the times i've laughed and cried over the years thinking about it. it sticks with me for a new reason every time i hear about it. i'm glad so many people understand it too.
This was me and my mom’s favorite movie to watch when i was a little kid. So many memories and good late night times with her just came back. Thank you so much for reminding me of this wonderful movie. 😊
i need to watch this movie again. it just makes me feel some sort of way, it feels like one of those oddly comforting dreams you have when you take a nap after a long day. i'm not even joking when i say it's one of the best movies i've ever watched. i love how straightforward the dialogue is, sometimes movies tend to twist everything into a metaphor and try to make it complicated. this movie is like a breath of fresh autumn air.
man i remember getting to go to the cinema at school and this is what we got to watch. while i dont remember most if the stuff,it always holds a special place in my heart

Same situation at mine but it's the dad here
That's nice, always make sure to care about what you have until the very end, no one wants to live a life of envy and regret.
I hope she understands your sentiment someday, it took mine a while to feel the same but she now believes me when i tell her that i am happy with what little we have.
@@saimonish9640Mine cant comprehend the fact that he is making too little money. I cant wait to move out.
Next time you tell her that, give her a hug and don't prevent yourself from crying.
You never know when someone's day will come, so make those moments count.
Damn, as a loser who’s got nothing but family left in his life, this really hit hard 😢
You’re not a loser, believe in yourself.
@@atomicalfox5598 thanks foxy
@@StudMacher78 No problem.
If you have people who love you, you are most definitely not a loser, infact you have something a lot of people can't get
My brother if you got a family that loves you and you love them, then your not a loser one bit.

I love this movie
Isn't this like the only good roldh Dahl book movie after his death
This edit really made me emotional
We are poor but we are happy, what an amazing quote
Makes me wonder just how many unhappy rich people are out there
The quote is a big lie. Money always comes on top.

Such an underrated film.
I believe it’s Wes Anderson BEST.
@Noodlekdoodle I think the only true consistent directors are Wes, Paul Thomas Anderson, and Christopher Nolan.
I watched that film when it was released and I was a kid. And didn't cared the details of the film that have but now just a luck that I am find out that yt short video and I just had a flashback like "This is the movie that I watched in my Childhood!"
What is the movie?
@Noodlekdoodle thanks
I like the detail of the end and the start. The woman fox says “it was a good toast” then the short starts again and the guy fox is about to eat a plate of toast. Such a cool detail.
That was actually his son who said that, but it still works
@@A_Real_Rascal Actually you’re both wrong it’s Jason Schwartzman that says that at the end but still works though

It's crazy how it makes stop motion animation feel like an actual family with its own little problems just like everyone else, what a wonderful movie ❤

When ever I keep rewatching this I cry
truly the single most well made movie ever and a true gem for the soul
I found this at 12 years old and cried cuz I didn’t realize a children’s movie could show me more than my parents have ever taught. Facing mortality is probably our biggest outlier
This movie was so emotionally striking in a way that I cannot quite put into words. Like the palpable sadness of coming home from war because everything crashes down on you at once in front of the people you love most... it hits hard.
Damn.
For anyone that's wondering the song is called Pluto projector.
Thanks bro🤝
Not just fantastic stop motion animation but just an all round great film. Massively underrated and I hope it gets the recognition it deserves soon ❤
When i was a lot younger movies were just entertaining,
I'm older and rewatch movies i learn they have wholesome lessons.
I love your username also samee
bro same i don't remember this happening as a kid but now i gotta rewatch it
Before I sleep I always watch this edit.
Fantastic Mr. Fox was one of those films that could really change your perspective. It changed the meaning of love for me entirely
One of the most forgetten movies, yet one of the most epic. Truely beautiful

I watched Fantastic Mr. Fox so many times when I was younger.
I need to watch it again because maybe I’ll understand it now

This... was one of the most unexpected movies I ever watched.
Why are you so good ❤

Gives me that same scared feeling of uncertainty I had as a kid, just utterly amazing piece of art we need more of in Hollywood
this was the sweetest thing I've seen in a minute
