It's weird being my age & suddenly discovering that I have access to such beautiful music whenever I want it! In 1977 it was a Saturday afternoon in an over priced record shop with paper route money for just one record
I was visiting my daughter in Germany - she plays this song for my 1 year old grandson... he loves it, will stop whatever he's doing to listen and hum the song. Now that I have returned to Canada I listen to your songs... they remind me of my grandson 'Where I'm Going' and 'When you wake up in the morning'...
The Wild Reeds opened for Shakey Graves in Louisville (10/2018) and ever since then I have been completely obsessed with their music. Their talent is beyond anything I have ever heard. Their Music touches your soul, Their harmony is ridiculously amazing, and their lyrics...speechless. I can only hope I see them again live
This child of the sixties is really liking the new music. Some of it appears to have been inspired in part by our music. The lyrics are meaningful and the melodies are very pleasant. Please keep showing us new music and groups like the Wild Reeds.
I don´t know if anyone speeks german here, but anyway...i try to write in english. So please don´t mind, if there are any mistakes in my writing... The song "what i had in mind" is so wunderful! Unbelievabel!!!!! I think that everyone has a gift, a talent...and god gave us all a talent. We just have to see and feel it and especially the warmth and love of jesus... Wunderful! These voices, wow, i´m deeply moved (i don´t know if this is the right expression). Thanks!!!
sorry bub, God did not give these ladies a "gift", you can bet that they worked their asses off to sing and play the way they do. Talent is a product of hard work and dedication.
When you wake up in the morning Are you lonely To find only the items I had left By your bedside on the table to your right hand Little traces are the proof that I exist this is the best break-up song.
There’s something about harmonizing bands like this one that take my breath away. The Staves are one of my favorite bands and The Wild Reeds have so much of that same energy.
Wow! Totally professional performance.....I am so happy about the success of three ladies from the San Gabriel Valley and environs (including a boxcar in the far north).
question for the guitarist whom i believe is left handed secretly? ever got around to grabbing a left handed rig nowadays and seeing how it feels after learning the right handed shenanigans? think i can smell mirrored magic recordings of you fiddle on the two.... i dunno if anyone feels this. hope you ladies see this! love you folks and the music! Stay Stellar! \m/
How could we clean that up...Well it can not be done ...' How fine you have it said with tremendous strum !' "Love Make A Fool Out of Me" I know I could like your next, and next, sing. thank you 'Wild'
Can anyone recommend me some more girl-fronted bands like this? I've really been wanting to start listening to more bands like this, but I don't know any good ones
Why do all these white girls look cute similar, from one show to another.i see someone who looks like another girl I saw on there..Hmm.are y'all all cousin's or something.. Audio tree must be my eyes playing tricks on me

I so agree! My musical horizons are more broad than ever!
Where I'm Going sounds so great live, here and when they were on Tiny Desk. Hats off to the technicians who recorded this performance!
Oh, the endless joy this group brings...

Saw them open for Lord Huron, hands down one of the best opening bands I have ever seen. Terrific music, they are awesome.
I am utterly in love with this band.
Someday soon I might start doing something other than listening to The Wild Reeds over and over again.
Maybe.

Can anyone recommend me some more girl-fronted bands like this? I've really been wanting to start listening to more bands like this, but I don't know any good ones
+Olyvia Hamilton To get you started, check out Jill Andrews: bit.ly/1UYz69E and Maybe April: bit.ly/1RC6dKI
Audiotreetv Thank you so much!
I'd recommend Hinds, Courtney Barnett, Julien Baker, Eskimeaux, and Mitski!! They're all really cool bands/solo acts that are fronted by women
I'll have to check them out, thank you! :)
I've heard The Oh Hellos and I really liked their sound, but I'll definitely check out Courtney Barnett thank you!
Damn!! these chicks play so well!!!

Did anyone else notice that Messi is the one hosting the show😂
I find the lovely subtleties are drowned out by the drums. It's over cooked.
EXCELENTE AS MENINAS.

the sister in blue has to be older than she looks... her voice confused me... nice surprise of a band...
Judson Clayto pretty sure they aren't sisters.
Let No Grief: played too slow, drums too loud. Fantastic song though.
Love them the best acoustic.
