Completely feel that vibe of running them at a 650p event and just accepting your down 50p, haha. I feel like the AU community is very much about the rule of cool over the min/maxing and it makes for a lot more fun to be had on the board and this legion sits in that field very well.
Yeah exactly. The AU community is awesome its much more about knowing the game better and having more experience than about bringing a super optimised list. At a minimum people always play theme
Just discovered it for myself , running it on a 622 (don't judge) grand tournament in germany in sept. Not expecting much but a lot of coolness out of it .
totally agree with running them even at 50 points down, I recently played this legion against a couple of friends and managed to get a draw and a win, so would definitely recommend trying out this list
This was really helpful! I started playing this list a lot and they really can give your opponent a run for their money. The tactics were also very helpful. Keep up the good work!
Looks like a really fun list! My concern is botching the blinding light roll. 1/3 times you'll fail and if you're up against harad/blackroot vale archers you'll get ripped apart. Nice video as always!
Exactly your elven cloaks can still keep you safe. If you are against a shooting heavy army its best to hunker down in terrain and shoot them with legolass so that they have to go to you. And if you are out in the open Frodo can spend his might on it
I think the Fellowship LL will struggle more with Hold Ground than scenarios with multiple objectives, since your opponent's force is likely to be mostly intact and in one place, while fighting over multiple objectives will require your opponent spreading out (which Aragorn, Boromir, and Gimli prefer).
Thanks for the comment. I love talking tactics! Hold Ground is actually alright for the Fellowship. They deploy as one warband so there is no change of any of them getting seperated and killed and they may be able to isolate one portion of the enemies army and kill them in one go. All hero armies tend to die when the heros get trapped. If the heroes are spread out they will almost always get trapped by sticking together you avoid this
@@ConquestCreations Deploying together is good for sure - but my experience using and fighting the Fellowship is that if you can fight them in one place, you can bring them down with numbers. Sitting on the center objective can also mean that you can throw guys at them, break, and the game ends. Of course, I usually use Isengard in these kinds of scenarios, so maybe there's a bias there?
Hi mate what is your opinion on my minas tirith army in the making its 800 point Warband 1 Boromir( leader ) 12 fountain court guard w shield, 3 veterans of osgiliath with various wargear and shield. Warband 2 cirion, 6 womt w shield, 6 citadel guard w spear. Warband 3, beregond, 6 citadel guard with bow. Warband 5, madril, 2 womt w shield, 8 womt w shield and spear and 1 w bow Warband 6, anborn by himself
This is a solid list. I like the inclusion of Anborn he will be perfect for sniping out enemy heroes horses. There are 2 things that I would change. I would include some of your fountain court guard in madril's warband so that they can give fight 4 to the warriors in that warband. And I would add in 3 or so knights of minas tirith so you can get to objectives and move across the board faster. Other than that this will be a powerful list!

Now now, I'm going to hope there isn't any hate for Merry and Pippin in this list review.
If you know you know
I couldn't hate on my bois
I am breaking all of the fellowship's rules!

First book where I want all the LL lol. Luckily have the basis for most of them already. 😀
hahah yeah I love the all hero legions because its so easy to paint them up!
Excited to see the scenarios for this list
Same here, I am keen to see it against the new Lurtz legion
nice video, some pretty interesting LLs finally.
I am a fan of a lot of the Legendary legions but breaking of the fellowship and the black riders are by far the most interesting ones
Dude this legion sounds epic and rightfully so. Ill definitely be running this
Its going to be a lot of fun to use! I'll have it in battle reports very soon
Loved this man awesome job
Glad you enjoyed it
@@ConquestCreations always
Could you do a video explaining what Legendary Legions are and if have to use them?

At least when he fails the models still have elven cloaks, so it's somewhat easy to seek cover.

any plan to do the Cirith Ungol Legion next?
I have a mate who has painted the army up so I am hoping to get it on a battle report as soon as possible
But he had Anduril in the book....
I am on your side I would have liked him to have the option so you could decide it you wanted book theme or movie theme
@@ConquestCreations GW likes to pick and choose between them its always confused me.

Nice video! Where can i see all these rules? Is there any document or Image for gw? Where are them?
They are in the quest of the ringbearer book. Its on pre-order now and is getting released on Saturday

Where did you get the elven scenery?
Its 3d printed from here www.printablescenery.com/product-category/fantasy/elves/
I still think it’s a disgrace that Legolas (and Gimli) only have 2 base attacks. We need the Megolas back.
How does Aragorn not have Anduril? He got Anduril before he left Rivendell. Guess they didn’t like the books here?
This legendary legion and many more are based on the films while there are several others that are based on the books
quick question does anyone know what the ancient evil special rule does?
It give -1 courage to all enemies within 18"
@@ConquestCreations thank you
What legion are their and are there any gondor ones
Not in the newest edition but there is the Ranger of Ithilien Legion from Gondor at War
The legions are the Black Riders, Breaking of the Fellowship, Lurtz Raiders, Depths of Moria, and Cirith Ungol
Merry & Pippin are only 10pts. Are you sure? That doesn't seem right
That's what is says in the book :) They aren't great I certainly wouldn't want them to be anymore points
