This song reflects the feelings and is the story between two destined lovers who had to go through three lives of trials and hardships before they ascend into higher god-hood and are finally able to be with each other. I remember finishing the drama within 3 days and crying at the end because the story was so touching. The sound of the erhu makes me believe the instrument is crying while singing. What a beautiful cover.

erhu is a music instument from the western part of China probably in the Tang dynasty thousand years ago.
