    Link in the description.
    P.S. To apply the discount, add all your items to the cart and tap checkout on the official site (not Amazon).
    Then scroll to the bottom under “Order Summary” to input the code CYBERSCRILLA.

      Purchased one off Amazon because the official website website is all sold out. Clicked the Amazon link through the official site. The firmware check passed. Would you say it’s still safe to use . Basically I’m asking if a firmware pass makes everything safe to use?

    • @rafaelsanchez2039

      Also if you create a hidden wallet with a custom pass phrase, wouldn’t it be impossible for the hackers to get into that wallet without the added pass phrase word? Even if they had the original seed phrase.

    I'm almost 100% that I'm going to buy this wallet.. Just a quick question.. If this wallet's battery goes to zero, will my crypto still be on the wallet? Sounds like a silly question, but..

    • @cyberscrilla
      @cyberscrilla  10 месяцев назад +5

      Crypto is not stored on a wallet. The wallet only holds your seed phrase/private key. So even if you lose your wallet or it breaks, you can regain access to your crypto by importing your seed phrase into another wallet.
      Regarding the battery specifically, when the battery fails, you can still use the device by plugging it into a power source.

    You’re saying the wallet stores the seed phrase. How do we know that the company of any wallet doesn’t have a back door where they can gain access to the seed words? I didn’t think the wallet stores the 24 words?

    • @cyberscrilla
      @cyberscrilla  2 месяца назад

      Yes. The entire point of a cold wallets is to store the keys. They don’t store any crypto.
      And you know this is true and safe for multiple reasons:
      1. Many cold wallets like OneKey are completely open source so we know everything they claim is true
      2. Most reputable cold wallets are audited by third party security firms who test and assure me there are no vulnerabilities or backdoors

      @ damn, I’m not sure I trust Chinese manufactures who make the keystone and OneKey wallets. I think I’m going to move off keystone and OneKey and move it on too Ledger Stax - let me guess the same could be true with them? 😂. I just bought a stax too! Maybe the best option is Coldcard? But that damn thing is hard to figure out - hence why I never got one!

    If you buy a classic and a touch model can you use the same seed phrase for both wallets?

    • @cyberscrilla
      @cyberscrilla  Год назад +2

      Of course. Seed phrases aren't attached to physical wallets. They are universal meaning you can import your seed phrase on ANY wallet that supports seed phrases as a recovery option.
      This is also why its CRUCIAL to keep your seed phrase stored in a safe place.

      @@cyberscrilla so I can use a ledger seed phrase for this wallet?

    • @cyberscrilla

      @@PaVinci Correct.
      However, if you suspect that your old wallet (say Ledger for example) has been compromised or your seed phrase might have been exposed, the responsible thing to do is create a new seed phrase and transfer assets to the new one.
      For example, I would never import a hot wallet seed phrase (like Metamask) into a hardware wallet because that seed phrase could have been exposed at some point.
      Otherwise, yeah you can just import the phrase into a new wallet.
