I love how in the ultimates your WOL doesn't do the normal cheer emote they just close their eyes like "Jesus christ its over"😞
The, "I have done my part," near the end made me kind of sad, as he was pulled into the middle to be killed. There was feeling in that line, almost rivaling Papalymo's scene.
Thank you so much for making this video. I love the concept of the ultimates as a story, and I love the exaggerated aspects of the bosses as well as the amazing music. But I don't think I'll ever have the skill or the time to dedicate to doing this very hard content! So watching this multi-POV video, with all the cutscenes and transitions left in, felt like something really cinematic and so awe-inspiring. I love it so much! I'm going to watch the others your team has done.

Now doing this kind of thing may be just the Minstrel's fanfiction of you, but since you're the one fighting the HARDER version of how that fight would have gone if Hydaelyn didn't interfere, you prove that you are TRULY the Warrior of Light.
One of the best parts is using multiple Limit Breaks back-to-back.
As a non ultimate-er, how does that work?
@@petrus9067 certain parts of the fight will give you an instant lb3 and its three back to back in this one

First one caster to instantly kill the self destruct adds
Second one healer to cleanse Lahabrea's doom debuff
Third one is melee for single target to instantly kill Lahabrea
Fourth tank LB to survive Ultimate Weapon casting Ultima
Actually one of the coolest fight seqeunces in any mmo imo. Really brilliant fight. TEA was cool, but this was the best Ultimate fight so far imo thematically imo. Bahamut was really fucking cool but idk something just super fucking epic in this fight about having to use four limit breaks in a row and then fighting all 4 primals at the same time.
Yup, needing four LB3s back-to-back and then Ultima’s theme kicking in where the lyrics are quite literally a heroic theme for the Ultima Weapon make this my favorite boss fight in any video game. You really feel like you’re supposed to lose.

It's crazy how much effort people had to put into this back in the days, just to have ppl stand 24/7 in Limsa and boast about how "literally anyone can clear this"

Well, it is easier than before, but was not that hard back then. The hardest part was to figure out the awoken puzzle. The DPS check was never that tight.
@@CineGoodog Oh really? Thats very nice and all beacuse I've been doing this glorified purgatory for 2 weeks and havent even got to supression. This fight may be one of the hardest experiences I ever had in an MMO, clearing this with pf should count as an achivement itself.
To hell with the DPS check, you cant do DPS if you're dead on the floor, and one player out for too long still means a wipe at the bring of enrage.
Funniest part is those people probably cleared it with half+ of the party already an Ultimate Legend lol
Does World 4th mean 4th ever worldwide? Or just the 4th clear ever on that particular world server? Also was this done in a single run with no wipes? Since there are multiple POV someone could be skeptical and say that video was spliced together. You guys made this look so easy! What a fight…
hey, it was world 4th worldwide! We learned this fight over the course of a week with a hc schedule of 16 hours a day. Ultimates are always "gauntlet" fights which means you need to beat every boss from the start to the end in a single segment. The multipov is meant to reflect the team effort of this achievement, and while one could argue that it was spliced, the clear itself is the important factor + logs do exist for the clear which could be compared to the footage. The sharing of povs is mostly meant for more entertainment value of showing how everyone gave it their best shot!

They are slightly modified versions of the game transitions to better line up
I figured there was a bit of editing involved in that, as the transition timing was too perfect, especially the "Garuda -> Ifrit" one.
holy hell that was intense as fuck, how long did it take you to nail every mechanic in that there were at least 20 odd things that if not done perfectly would instantly wipe you
8 days. Everything before Ultima was rather easy to figure out. I think we got to ultima on day 2 or 3. The hard part is getting there again to try out strats and figuring out what to do in that clusterfuck of mechanics that Ultima is throwing at you.

Great video, but some notes: what's up with the color cards for the name? Ludi Sinclair name is barely readable. I think it wuld have been better to leave the color as each class, like in the game
Yeah, I liked the aesthetics of white on color, but white mage is a bit problematic since the representation color is white. For the next video, I'll figure out something a bit more readable. Thanks for the feedback
