A fit, sporty, tanned Aussie girl went to London to get some culture. There, she met a pale, skinny, thoughtful pommie boy. They got together. After a while they moved to Australia. That skinny pommie boy took up surfing, kayaking, skiing. He started going to the gym. He swam every morning, riding his bike to the beach, later commuting by bike. Their house began to fill up with sporting equipment. He started entering Ironman contests. ‘Straya will do that to you.
Woohoo Ben. Maz, I hope you have pics coming of Ben in his yoga gear. We'll all be waiting for those in the next video 😂🤣😂🤣. Love you guys to bits. You make my Sunday's just that little bit brighter. So don't be disappearing on us again ok, we'll come hunt ya's down if ya do lol ❤
Just a tip for those who do want to try life in the outback, especially northern WA, leave your white clothes at home and take pink, orange, red or black with you - that's the colour your clothes will end up anyway, regardless of how many times you soak and wash lol. Yeah, I've been there done that, and white in the outback just don't mix lol
if you ever want to check out big banana (coffs harbour), I might be able to hook you up with a free campsite on a relative's farm in the area (by a river), feel free to hit me up, can show you the best spots and teach you some bush tucker and medicinal plants etc, as well as some general history about the area
Something to do as a video is get your kids to talk about their feelings of being here and who they feel about moving and back home in the UK. Thats something you dont hear or see much coming from the kids side of things. Keep it real guys 😎
Hi, me and and my family are considering the move to Perth as I can access a sponsored visa. Jus quick question , would a 125k yearly income be enough for a family of 5? Thankyou
Housing cost is the big variable that eats up your income in Aus. If you can find a cheap place to live then $125k can work. You'd probably want a second income if you have a partner who can work.
@@Hoonbernator1590 cheers for the reply mate. We are looking at Perth tbf, I know your at the opposite side but I noticed how helpful you’ve been in the comments and videos so thought worth an ask still. Unfortunately that would be our wage combined, my job is a barber I have my own shop over here in rainy Preston so I would be coming on the 2 year subclass 482 visa with a view to permanent or if not extended for two years eventually gaining permanent residence. Sponsored jobs in Perth paying about 75k and my partner would earn about 55k. Literally my only worry, I’m excited to push my comfort zone of all the animals and weather etc ahah so no issues there. Jus don’t want to excite ourselves to much if that wage and would be a struggle month to month. We don’t need much, a flight to england every few years or so. We crave the simpler life when not at work. I’d like to grow our own as much as we can, or have some chickens for onlettes in the garden in the morning etc ahha Thanks again for your reply
Just wondering, do you own a house in England? If you do, you should be OK. Keep in mind, the exchange rate means selling a house in England gives you a good sum for a place in Perth. Median house price here is at the lower end for Australia.
@@zwieseler we don’t no unfortunately, we was going for a mortgage towards the end of this year/early next year but have decided we’d rather use that money to make the move. But that would result in renting obviously. I run my own shop here and earn good money for the uk, running your own shop which is reasonably affordable to set up has decent rewards here financially but it’s the lifestyle I crave. Only pays 70k to 80lk man and the higher side I’d more Queensland. Tough one really, we do have 3 kids but if my partner and my wage at a Combined of roughly 130k-140k would be affordable for us I’ll move asap haha
Your 125 is probably around 210 here so it would work but it costs a lot more for food and petrol for just a few examples But like so many British that have come make it your own life 😊 Good luck
Nice one.. As an expat in the UK from tropical India, I wish to move to AU to enjoy a similar climate and not wear layers of clothing n jackets. Just wanna walk in flip flops 😅.. There is a trampoline n slide in the garden in UK, however my 5 yr says its so cold and can't go out 😢.. No use of able 2 buy things but not able 2 be outdoors here. Keep the vdos coming 😊
