Even I was shocked to know abt the Razakar atrocities however when I researched a bit I found that the then Nizam of Hyderabad was quite tolerant towards other religions. He donated to Tirupati Balaji temple & also to Benaras Hindu College. Plzz anyone throw some light as I'm a non-Hyderabadian. Was it just an attempt to create a fake image or false stories spread by his followers? Was the Hindu genocide under the Razakars done under his orders or was he totally unaware of it & it was Kasim Rizwi who was the actual mastermind behind it? Who's at fault? Very unfortunate events, while it's important to be educated about the incidents and history overall. One must not use past to be oppressive in the name of revenge, we're better than this.
And for the people who are saying, why we were not taught this in school. The history of India is vast, you can learn about it decades and you still won't know everything about it. There are plenty of atrocities committed against people that we don't learn in school because that's how our curriculum is designed, it's made to educate and not radicalise.
