    I use mullet gut all year round for bream fishing. I use a 3\0 Owner circle hook tie it directly onto 10 to 12 pound line no sinker at all. I use a 10 to 12 foot blackfish rod and I get some cracker bream. Best bream being 53 cm swallowed a whole mullet gut bait in one go ! The onion was the size of a golf ball and the soft part coming off was at least 20 cm in length big bait ! I put the whole mullet gut on differently to how you did it in your great video. I start at the end of the soft part of the gut. Thread it through, wrap around and thread through the hook point usually 3 to 4 times. Then I put the hook point through the side of the onion part. I also have a small plastic container with tuna oil and anise. I dip the whole bait in and then cast it out and hang on !

      Sometimes I put two whole mullet gut baits on the 3\0 circle hook or even go up to a 4/0 circle hook.

      Chuk Rad it’s a very low high tide due to moon phase 1/4. So small window of opportunity.

    Hey mate, the kids and I are experimenting, trying different things. But we rarely have successful sessions. You reckon maybe you could do a kind of "most common mistakes"... Just a thought. My son insists that reeling his line in slowly immediately after casting is the very way but I feel like that is why he loses all his ear aaallll the time on massive snags. Love your videos!

    Nice work Wayne. What are the best baits for Bream? Do you do better at night time? Thanks

    • @Wayne.Groomes.Fishing
      @Wayne.Groomes.Fishing  5 лет назад

      Mal Drury definitely better quality at night. Baits change for different locations. Chicken works well.

    • @craigaungle2391
      @craigaungle2391 3 года назад

      Night fishing is generally a lot better for the bigger bream. I mostly fish at night for them. But you will still get good fish on overcast days, rainy days and full moon lit nights.

      revelacia they didn’t. So I’ve no idea why.

    • @revelacia
      @revelacia 5 лет назад +1

      I like your videos btw👍 Im sorry ...it is because it looked like the bream wasnt going to make its arial journey back to water but then the video cuts to a convenient shot from a different angle of a fish being thrown into the water. Anyway. ..its not like evey fish ive released has made it to the safety of the water without bouncing off the odd terrestrial object! Lol. Anyways...I live in brissy n grew up in Sandgate and Im going fishing this arvo/tonight with my girl and i watched a couple of your vids to freshen up on my game. Keep up the good work!!!
