Nice video Wayne! Moved to Brighton recently and picked up a rod, reel, Grubz and some Headlockz HDs to try for some bream. Fingers crossed!

Love Tackle Land Sandgate. Beautiful part of the world. Good luck with the bream.

I'm going to try and absorb this. I've never had any luck with plastics, or lures for that matter. I need to learn the hows and whys and wheres. I've used dead and live bait for 50 (intermittent) years but want to get the gist of lures.

Bait will always out perform ĺures. No argument from me. Ĺures bring the sporty feeling back into fishing.

So, in your opinion, is there a difference in 'catchability' between a big pack of 'cheap' plastics compared to more expensive plastics?

Short answer is is. You also need to consider how many fish a SP will catch before it’s no longer usable. I personally think Zman are one of the best value due to how long they last.

Hey Wayne, if I was trying to target juvenile Giant trevallys in the estuarys and canals in SEQ do you have any tips for soft plastics and jighead and hook combinations? Would love to see you do a similar video about that 👍

Yep similar weight to flatty fishing with a slightly faster retrieve. If you can find a lure called the Tassy devil they are awesome for GTs. An old favorite.

That will be another video. Just wanted to show the gear and keep the video short. Well the talking heads part. Most loose interest if it’s any longer.
