- Nioh 2 Lore. The Tragic Tale of Shuten Doji. In this episode we cover the story of Shuten Doji including one of the many stories about his origins and how he eventually became the notorious Oni / Yokai Shuten Doji.

I really liked this one, Shuten Doji is my favorite boss in nioh 2 and it's nice to hear his lore. The music set the mood too. Like you were tell bloodborne lore or something lol. Please do more lore videos.

@@Onos Well, I definitely approve. I've spent countless hours watching lore and theory videos based on the "Soulsborne" series. I don't know many channels that have tackled the Nioh universe and its lore. Could be a good opportunity you have here. :)

I really enjoyed this video explaining the lore of Shuten Doji. You should keep them going if possible for all of the Yokai bosses in Nioh 2. Great job!

@@Lostinjp I only mentioned the yokai because I know a good amount of lore for the historical human characters in the game. But that would be great content for the channel.

In Japanese Mythology, Shuten Doji was born evil and did evil all throughout his childhood...
I read a few different versions when doing my research. I suppose I have a bad habit of trying to empathise with the bad guy haha
