One of the main factors in any alcohol pricing is tax. There is no excise on zero alcohol beer. Typical excise on a pint of normal beer is about 54 cents. That is countered by the increased production costs to produce no alcohol beer. Likely brewery and pub taking a cut.
I did this when it came out, if i have a beer when out with a vehicle , guiness 00 is it, and no i couldnt tell the difference, oddly its the same price as normal beer but taxed far less with o alcohol. R

I buy both and mix half and half, tastes the same but gives you a longer session without getting shit faced 😉😉
