  • "ATWA" is a song by the American rock band System of a Down, featured on their 2001 album, "Toxicity." The song is known for its calm and melancholic atmosphere, contrasting with many of the band's other tracks, which are often faster and more aggressive. "ATWA" addresses themes such as environmental activism and nature conservation, with the lyrics seeming to reference the vulnerability of nature and the importance of its preservation.
System of a Down, often abbreviated as SOAD, is an American rock band formed in 1994 in Glendale, California. The band consists of four members:
    1. Serj Tankian - Lead vocals, keyboards
    2. Daron Malakian - Guitars, vocals
    3. Shavo Odadjian - Bass, backing vocals
    4. John Dolmayan - Drums
Known for their unique blend of alternative metal, hard rock, and experimental music, System of a Down gained widespread recognition with their self-titled debut album released in 1998. However, it was their sophomore album, "Toxicity" (2001), that propelled them to international fame, featuring hits like "Chop Suey!" and "Toxicity."
The band's music often explores politically and socially charged themes, including war, genocide, and societal issues. "ATWA" is one of the tracks from their "Toxicity" album, showcasing their ability to incorporate diverse musical styles while delivering powerful messages through their lyrics.

Every System of a Down song is a certified banger. I've been a fan for 20 years, and they just get better with age. Might I suggest Suggestions? Or perhaps Question? War? Boom? Holy Mountains!

I'd suggest listening to the full album. The songs run together so nicely that it's like 1 big song.
