I was just in the ER yesterday for a fractured ankle. Should it be a standard practice for a cloth/gauze covering of the sight? I didn't receive such and today my heal and sides of my foot were burning. I had to take my splint off, ice and elevate it, then proceed to find something thin enough to create a barrier from the sheath of the fiberglass. As the splint was air drying to subdue the moisture created.

Wow. I needed this for my foot. My corners weren’t tucked under on my splint. So it makes it a bit uncomfortable.

I got no extra padding around the bony area and my foot dropped so far out of 90 degrees. They don’t want me on my foot at all so they gave me no extra toe padding

Can you reshape the hard part after it dries they messed mine up cause I did x-rays before it dried all the
Way and the shape is weird now
And it hurts.

If you lucky were I’m at and have this type of Bad sprain or even a small fracture they give you a ace bandage and say you’ll have to pay 500$ just for a X-ray and again that’s if you’re lucky to even get a bandage…
