😅I’m 70 yo grandma and was thrilled when I watched your video I had been working on my hardwood floors by hand and I only managed to clean a 3’ x 3’section n 2 hours. So imagine how thrilled I was after watching your video. Unfortunately I am having the same problem as many that have left comments on your channel we could not find a pro 35 brush machine for rent r purchase. Is there another machine that I could use? Is there any thing else you could recommend? Thank you.
Hey, I’ve always used microfibre mop and water/disinfectant but there’s a lot of build up and grime from previous cleaning/walking etc. The floors look so dirty all the time. I’m happy to do this by hand but I don’t know what to use or where to start. Please can you advise for those of us who don’t have one of these machines? I’ve considered dry scrubbing then mop, scrubbing with a brush with water & or bicarbonate (based product). Any tools or products you can recommend? Also do you recommend any products to revive and give it back the shine afterwards? Thanks!
I literally just did it before you replied and am gobsmacked. (No one I lived with cared 🤣) It’s going to take me the rest of the year but v satisfying! Thanks!
Thanks for the suggestions. The hall floor and stairs in my house had carpeting which really had come to the end of its useful life, but the wood (which is just wood, not polished or treated or whatever the word is) has build up where I've walked with stuff on my soles - though I do try to remember to change into indoor shoes). I've used the old-fashioned way - clearing with wire wool to remove the build up but your way looks like it could be effective but if the floor is untreated would the water warp the wood?
So, this might be a dumb question but where do you rent a machine like that? And , you're not using any cleaning product, just water? What is the white sudsy stuff coming out of machine?
Can you give the specs on the machine you use? Im looking at deep cleaning the floors of a house im about to start living in during college and i dont want to buy a professional grade cleaner because those can become very expensive for a poor college student. Lowes and Home depot offer some hard wood scrubber tools but i want to make sure theyre not going to be too aggressive on my hardwood floors because again, this is a rental and I just want the floor cleaned.
Hello and thanks for your videos I have a question How do you prevent The floor from buckling and cupping with all the liquids What If liquid got underneath?
So a solid wood floor won’t buckle - only a laminate floor will. We also get the moisture up really quickly so don’t allow any to get into the underneath - the floors are generally rinsed dry within 5 mins of moisture being introduced.
Thanks now how to clean a hardwood floor that has polyurethane oil base on it that is 20 years old. How to bring back that shine and how to remove old polyurethane that was stepped into thinking it was dried and harden to a ugly heap of hard as rock stain

Thanks but where can I get one of those scrubbers? What are they called?
It's called a Pro 35 - it's a professional machine :)
@@CleaningHowToCan you rent this machine and how much does that cost?

if the floor isnt wet for ling it wont warp wood, but I wouldnt put a lot of moisture on a laminate floor :)
@@CleaningHowTo Thank you.

Watch the video again he explains it. He said there is soap and dirt in the wood that he gets out with the brushes.

Watch this - ruclips.net/video/PtSJcth6KX0/видео.html theres an easier method that's cheap; though using a wet vac will speed things up.

I used mixture of water n vinger to clean my thin laminate wood. But now the flooring is very sticky. What can I do to remove the stickness?thanks

The bigger problem is how to remove embedded dirt from the seams of old hardwood floors - wood filler is not the answer ... anybody have any ideas?
I'd remove it dry with a vacuum and a bottle scrubber!
Mercy, you look cute in that t-shirt 😍
Why thank you :)

You’ll have to scrape it off I’m afraid.
🤣🤣🤣 YOU JUST PUT BACK ALL THE GUNK GLUED TO YOUR FLOOR 😅 WHY ?? YOU DID NOT PUT BONET ON YOUR RUBBER SHOES 😂
That seems pretty expensive using all of those microfiber pads
I used 5 - about €4 each; €20; they wash 300 times, so not expensive at all :)
