This video just flipped me over for the prosecution. No excuse to ever to put a knee on a person's neck. While Fylod was being extremely difficult, it still does not excuse the knee on the neck, nothing does. Even if Floyd did ingest drugs, it does not excuse the knee on the neck (the opposite really). Chauvin should have exercised better judgment, but choose the worst possible option given that the man was clearly in distress and suspected to be intoxicated. Putting your knee on his kneck killed him one way or another.
I hate to tell you but in a respiratory emergency like asthma or pneumonia people can sometimes not speak. This was not a respiratory emergency. However, compressing his carotid artery and jugular vein with a knee caused inadequate perfusion which made him feel like he couldn’t breathe. He was not getting adequate blood flow return. Stop making uneducated comments when you have have no idea what you are talking about.
