Will be coming up with Feeeous extraction by the end of this month....stay subscribed to not miss the lectures...also plz share to fellow gate aspirants !!
No buddy...the coke combusts and provides energy that is required for reduction....not all are endothermic in BF....hot air is to initiate the reactions only !!
@@everythingmetallurgy yes, I know but mostly are endothermic. And I know that coke and hot air are the primarily sources providing energy required for all the reaction's included in bf
@@saaranshkumar9793 Yeah obviously max reduction reactions are endothermic in nature...but we are bothered about carbothermic reduction of Iron which is Exothermic in nature !!
Wtf.. It is not sufficient... & you said in this all reactions are taking place in BF are exothermic.. This is wrong.... All reactions are taking place in BF is endothermic except C+O2=Co2
Buddy...i said the sourse of energy reactions...those are the combustion reactions i talkd about...ypu must know that all the reduction reactions are usually endothermic in nature !!
Could you please prescribe me a book on iron making which contains latest changes done in iron making ? RH TUPKARY has become old. I am having it's 2016 edition.

Is this notes is sufficient for gate exam sir.
Sir correct it in blast furnace only endothermic reaction takes place because of that we are providing hot air through tuyeres.
