Was a great event. I actually remember the Prodigy Set, with a new techno vibe (Full throttle, No Good & Start The Dance ). The Producer, Colin Dale, Carl Cox & Lenny Dee also outstanding. Those were the days. RIP Keith Flint 😔

Note to self- £20 tickets because you knew the people doing horse patrols is a great idea to start with and I had the pleasure of parking right behind the left pa stack but man it fries your brain after 12hrs brrrrrrrrrrr brrrrrrrrr brrrrrrrrr brrrrrrrrr brrrrrrrrrrr
As the sun came up that morning and we were sharing some smokes round my buddys eze love pa it was a truly beautiful moment as Pertwood farm is a stunning site.
More beautiful still was heading off to Westbury white horse for a few hours to kick back, BUT, you could still hear the main pa kicking out tunes up there hahaha no escape no surrender!

What a great night this was. I remember reading a story of how it was actually filmed but the company went out of business and the tapes were lost. Such a shame that heaven and earth back to back stage looked awesome in the morning.

@John Boy You're probably thinking of Tribal gathering the same year. There is no video of Big Love 93.

That was the tribal gathering video from April 30th just a couple of months earlier. There wasn’t a video of big love & the universe crew vaga and co went bust after big love. Tribal gathering was by a long way miles better organised than big love much better atmosphere and no sound issues like big love

A great band live.....saw them at least six times in 92 at rave events and on tour with Top Buzz in the December at Cardiff. This was well funny when mc Digger tried to join them on stage and security dragged him off ha ha!!!!

Dale Forest "oh no not you again", lol.......I'm from South Wales and was a regular most weekends from mid 88 til mid 94 at free parties, clubs and events from Plymouth and Bournemouth in the south to Bowlers in Manchester in the North, plus anywhere and everywhere in between..........where abouts are you from m8 ?? We must have shared memories of events we both must have been at, so could possibly have met at some point, I've friends from all over the UK and beyond who I met at raves, that's what was so gr8, people becoming friends rather than enemies just cos they come from a different town, Ecstasy brings all together in harmonious dance !!!!

4ND13S K4OS THEORY Yes I agree. I am from Gloucester and went to a few free parties here back in 1989. I then moved to Oxford and went to a club there for 2 years every Friday night called Prism in Cowley Road where all the Oxford ravers went to. It was a smallish place but an amazing atmosphere and was like one massive family.
I went back to Gloucester in 1992 and then used to to Goldiggers in Chippenham (The pilgrim was a regular there) as well as the Brunel Rooms in Swindon.
I also went to about 12 organised paid parties and was lucky enough to go to the Mind, Body and Soul Universe Party which still amazes me to this day.
Gave it all up in 1993 and have wished every day since that I could go back !!! Nothing since has even come close to be honest. It was life......I was alive... Not sure what was so good about this alternative normal life that my parents were so desperate for me to live and get back into. It sucks !! :-)
My favourite overall DJ of the era is probably Easygroove, though I loved most of them in some way.
      Peace.

You must know Rob W, happier on heat as he's from your manor, I did a lot of the free parties around Oxford in 91 and was a regular at Brunnel Rooms in 93, only went to Goldiggers once as The Park, Wormlowe was one of my other haunts especially around the end of 92 when not at one of the main events, mind, body & soul was an awesome night indeed as were all the Fantazia events that year.......Further back I did all the Raindance, Biology, Sunrise and back to the Future events but I think the bollox for a good night was The Edge in Coventry but also been to JJs, Shelleys, Bowlers, Wigan Pier, Hacienda, Milton Keynes( dance planet and dreamscape), Plymouth Warehouse to name a few.........I agree that the techno dread or Dennis the Menace EASYGROOVE is the best, miss the lifestyle !!!!
