It took me a few days to realise I was actually in my local hospital, five minutes from my home in London, I’ve never even been to New York! 😄 I also thought I could see a life-size model of the late Queen Elizabeth made entirely out of grey Lego bricks. It was very strange.

I used to work at an airport. Her ass would have 100% been left behind if she tried that at my local airport.
We had people waltz in 5 minutes before take off. They would be astonished that they weren't allowed even though there are huge signs all over the airport that say that the doors close 45 minutes before takeoff.
That was my same thought! I got secondhand anxiety. Also why do a full beat for a 16 hour flight??? I am lucky if I remember to slather on chapstick in flight days because of the stress of the airport.

Yesterday I actually saw RUclips video about influencers being sad because they bought like hudnreds of thousands of dollars to millions of dollars worth expensive designer stuff and realized it all didn't make them happy. The thing is, it was serious, not funny or sarcastic, video about those poor ultra-rich humans who were sitting in their million dollars perfect homes, all young, beautiful people, surrounded by al that expensive crap that costs enough to buy a small town, crying because they realized "it's just stuff" and they are stil not happy!

When I was a kid I and my brothers were literally BANNED from entering the kitchen unless told to by our parents 😬 we had 1 fridge and dared not open that fridge unless we were told to!! I grew up poor af and lived in a cabin in the woods…we had no electricity and had spring water. Our wood stove was an actual stovetop and heater. We had to boil our bath water on the stove and then dump big pots of boiled water into a claw foot cast iron tub. I FINALLY had electricity when I moved out at age 17. I grew up in the Appalachian mountains. Craziest part is the FACT that when hurricane Helene hit Appalachia, ppl from TN went on social media ranting about how the ppl in Appalachia are “so poor that they have to sometimes give their babies flour mixed with water instead of formula” and “are often uneducated and illiterate which is why they’re poor” 🤨😱😡 TF we have grocery stores #1 and secondly, public education is enforced in Appalachia just like everywhere else 🤷🏼♀️ I was an honors English student lolz 😂

fun fact: Me and my family only take planes if necessary. I have genuinely gone on car trips that took days. Like our trip to colorado. 6 people, 1 small van, 2 days. Some people don’t have the mental capacity to understand what actual struggle is.
God bless Michaela. She works soooo hard hard providing to a service for us all. Us nurses though we had it bad - 12 hour shifts, plus 1 hour commutes on your feet all day, doing CPR, not drinking for 12 hours and seeing people at their very worst. Few christmases ago I worked in emergency departnent and heard the screams of a woman after the Dr told her the bad news that after he randomly collapsed at the dinner table, there was nothing more than we could do for him after an hour of trying. While listening to her scream after that I was dealing with another lady who thought she was having a miscarriage. That’s NOTHING compared to what Michaela goes through on a daily basis working till 5pm filming herself applying makeup, she is a beast !

So sorry for what is going on. Loosing a pet is hard. My cat was put to sleep last month. Before he was sedated he held my arm looked at me with scared eyes like begging me to save him. That eyes haunting me even today. I couldnt do anything to save him. I let him down. Vets said there was nothing they could do and this was the humane solution I still hated it. I wish there was any other way
