I never expected all of the controversy and replies over my rant, but it's hilarious, great, and awesome! Lol. To someone, while I'm at it: Nickelback is not more alternative to Coldplay. Take a survey of ten people's opinions on that. They are only more alternative than the happy birthday song and jingle bells. Also, LINKIN PARK??? Alternative??? They only recorded the soundtrack to one of the biggest Hollywood blockbusters to ever come out! (Transformers, right?) And maybe even more movies I don't even know. Pretty mainstream, I would say. Also, where are a million actual alternative artists? Think: Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Highly Suspect, Royal Blood, The Black Keys, The Blue Stones, even Marilyn Manson, Cage The Elephant, AWOL Nation, Cake, Butthole Surfers, The Cure, Cowboy Junkies, The Revivalists, Muse, The Raconteurs, X Ambassadors, The White Stripes, on and on and on. THESE, children, are alternative artists; NOT the commercial stuff you hear in the movie theaters. Even Billie Eilish and The Black Eyed Peas are more alternative than most of the ones listed. Thanks for the replies. Let me know what you think of the bands I listed. More deserving to be on the list or no???
Not sure how this is considered the "best of alternative rock" . Only good bands on this list is Linkin Park and Evenescence

Vast majority of songs aren't even close to being considered "alternative". More like mainstream, POP, mostly enjoyed by teenagers. I mean, NICKELBACK??? Wow! Yeah, that's so alternative! 🙄NOT! Also, the song list is wrong. Coldplay's "Yellow" isn't even listed, but it's on there. WHO MADE THIS???
Perhaps and maybe I’m wrong here but. There are other videos on yt 🤔 or use pandora, iHeart , or even Apple Music. I personally enjoyed making breakfast to this GREAT song mix. Creator keep up the good work 😊
