- Learn to create an elegant pair of dangle earrings using wire and teardrop briolettes in this intermediate level wire wrapping tutorial.
Materials:
1 pair briolette beads, approx 10x10 to 10x14mm
20 gauge round soft wire, 1 piece 2" and 2 pieces 1.25" per earring
26 and 28 gauge round soft wire, various lengths
1 drilled bead, 3.5mm diameter
Pair of ear wires
I used sterling wire and bead purchased from RioGrande.com and faceted square cushion briolettes purchased from Etsy.
Tools Used:
Chain Nose Pliers (I use Xuron tweezer nose: amzn.to/2qgGwOR And Wubbers chain nose: amzn.to/2Oexzxv )
Round Nose Pliers, (I use Wubbers: amzn.to/2rJlVD6 )
Flush Cutters, (I use Xuron Maxi Shear: amzn.to/2rLWcdf and Micro Shear: amzn.to/2qWbEmG )

While I find the layered pieces a bit challenging, I LOVE the final look. (Great exercise in hand dexterity too!). Thx for suggestions on sources for beads as well.
Yes, I also find this one a bit fiddly until you get some of those bindings tackled. I've been curious about trying to hold things in place with masking tape at the start, but was worried it might make it harder to see what I was doing on camera. I love this design But I found the video very hard to follow ,so much of the important video was out of focus or covered by your hands. the earrings are Beautiful but i will have to pass on this one and try a different earring . Thank You for all your videos they are appreciated
