I'm sorry for my long hiatus; in addition to our pre-Christmas move, I had to deal with an unexpected computer death :( I guess I'll have to save that snowman Christmas tree ornament tutorial I had planned for next year. But it's not too late for snowflake earrings, right?
Well...winter only just started...and snow can definitely still fall...and snowmen can be built. Can the ornament even be used as a pretty winter window decoration?
Those are gorgeous and I cannot wait to try my hand at making a pair! I think I might try mine in silver instead just to get a different look. I will be certain to post them when I get them done!
Love these, but can’t for the life of me, get past just trying to set up the frame wires after 6 attempts. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. The one I did, ended up looking like a pinwheel in the center instead of the closed loop you end up with. Help! (I am not new to wire wrapping)
Sorry to hear that, Robin! Yes, that part is pretty tricky. Did you see how I closed up the center after attaching all 6 wires together, by twisting them further?
@@FantasiaElegance Yes, I finally figured it out. Not only do the earrings look great (I opted for making them without the beads), but it’s a great exercise in doing finer work with wire. Thx for sharing the tutorial.
