  • During World War II one of the most dangerous missions was flying supplies from an airbase in remote eastern India to China in support of the war against Japan. Local residents Fred Martin and Alex Dominick both wrote books about their fathers’ experiences, and just recently met at the museum. They will tell the harrowing story of their fathers, who flew C-87 transport planes over the Himalaya mountain range.
