I'm so sorry you are going through that. I have no answer nut I want to let you know she would have thought it was best for you. She may have had problems which made her feel like you'd be better off without her. I was 18months old when my mum left and I found her when I was 21. We are not close and sometimes I wish I hadn't found her because she has alot of issues. I believe she did the right thing leaving me with my dad and even after I found her, it took a long time to forgive her. Don't waste as many years as I did wondering and even thinking something wrong with you like I did. Know that sometimes there is no answer and whether she did right or not, I'm sure she thought it was right at the time. I hope you have lots of people around you that love you and will help you grow into a strong young woman. Don't use it as an excuse to fail and be angry. Use it as a reason to strive, be compassionate to others because you have felt pain too; and to be successful in life. If you ever find her, remember she is just human and we don't always make good choices. Sending huge hugs to you sweetheart x
