- I dedicate this song to the most wonderful and loving woman I could have ever known. My mom. She passed away in late of 2009, and I'm still struggling with the loss. My mom was the best; she truly was. If it wasn't for God, I would have not made it this far. This goes to you, Momma. I'll see you soon.

My mother died in my arms in 1995, and I miss her even now. Sometimes I go home and hear myself say, "I want my mommy" and I am 78. She was the mainstay for me all the years of my life.

My mom too died in 1995.Thats the year that everything went wrong in my life till today. My mother was my all, my husband maltreated me like a piece of crap. Leaving behind children with no financial support none of them continued school. Am 58 now and handicapped as my so call husband had me well beaten and broke my leg. Am begging for financial support from whoever has. Thanks for reading through this.

To all those who have lost their mommas… I hope your mom is holding your heart well and carrying you through life with their mothers love and strength. Mom is there with you. Just close your eyes and she will be there. Always look at the measure of pain as a measure of love you have for mom. Smile bc she was so good to you for you to love her this much. Let’s smile for the blessing of having such great mothers. One day we will reunite with all our moms. They are going to be waiting with open arms in a big green field and we will be like a child running into their arms forever.

My mom passed 18 yrs ago from breast cancer I was holding her hand when she took her last breath I immediately lost it but I heard her voice say my name I felt her spirit go straight through me and instantly I felt peace calm warmth a feeling that words really cant explain she was a Christian woman loved God even through her diagnosis and when the prognosis was grim that day has me convinced there's a Heaven and she's there waiting for me.

I am so sorry. I really feel this. My mom passed from ovarian cancer. She told my dad and I that she wanted us there when she passed. Both of us were there. She didn’t open her eyes for two days but she managed to open one eye and shed a tear. I had a feeling she was about to pass so I told dad to say goodbye. Like you, I was holding her hand as she took her last breath. I didn’t hear her say my name but I did feel that peaceful feeling. I still picture the moment in my head clearly.

I just lost my mother today. This song brought many tears to my eyes. I know as a man, sometimes we are taught that we shouldn't cry., But...tears are a good thing. It helps us release many...many emotions that are bottled up inside. I know I won't forget the sight of seeing her laying in her bed..lifeless, that image and the smell sticks with you for life.

I just had my mom's anniversary of her death day on October 2nd, its been 9 years. Her mother, died when i was 4, her dad when i was 7. I cant believe how she never let me see her cry not once. I didnt know how much it hurt, until i lost her. And im in awe to this day how she got through it and i never knew.

I feel your pain and my heart aches for you. I lost my mom the end of Sept suddenly. She was my best friend, my confidant, my safety net. I still go back and forth with shock, denial and extreme grief. I was her only daughter and primary caregiver. With Christmas around the corner, it seems to get harder. I know without a doubt where she is...she's with her Savior, my daddy and my baby boy. But her loss is still so raw. She left a huge hole in my heart. You are in my heartfelt prayers. There is no time limit on grief.

I'm so sorry for your loss. On that same day but years ago my brother passed. I still cry for him. My mom still lives and I take care of her. She had a stroke and it's all about learning everything again my brothers and sister have all forgotten about her. God sees everything.
@@debbieyanez8966 I'm so sorry for the loss of your brother and your mom's stroke it's very tough being the only one to care for a sick loved one I had a brother also that passed away in Feb 17 and recently my mom. My mom had dementia and one of my sister's was her care taker but only because the rest of us lived in different states but we would all go and try to help as much as possible. I will keep you and your mother in my thoughts and prayers and ask Jesus to place his loving healing hands on your mom's shoulders and to place his hands on yours to give you the strength to help your mom get well God bless you and your mom

My mom would like me to bring a smile to someone's face and to comfort them than to cry all the time and let it take over my life. My mom suffered greatly over the last few months and i know she's not confused or wondering what is going on with her brain anymore. I have wonderful memories of her and am honered to have been her son. Now it's time for me to honer her memory by trying to bring comfort to others. Thank you for your prayers as well. One time, I woke up. My mom told me she couldn't breathe, tears were building up, but I didn't let them fall, she went to the hospital, it was 12 am, I couldn't go back to sleep, on her way, she worried about me and my siblings, I waited for her to come back from the hospital. When she wasn't there, I bursted out in tears, they just wouldn't stop flowing. Till this day, I'm afraid to fall asleep, sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night with that tragic in mind. And I pray to god that he won't tske her away so soon.
The thought of her not being here with me, makes me sad. I'm sorry mom, sorry that I get irritated sometimes and get mad at you, I promise to do better. And thank you, you're having such a tough time yet you still manage to wake up early in the morning and work, after work, you still have work to do around the house, you have to cook for us. I will try my best to help, thank you for being such an amazing mom💕

My mom died 5 days ago. I miss her so much. She was not only my best friend but my only friend. I forget she’s no longer here and I find myself wanting to tell her about my day. Something will happen and i find myself wanting to tell her about it. I cared for her when she could no longer care for herself. I watched her die right in front of my eyes. I can’t get that image out of my head. I wish a thousands times it had been me instead. My days were filled with taking care of her every need. Now I’m lost and don’t know what to do with myself. Some days I can’t even get out of the bed. I just miss her so much and would love to see her again one more time.

My mom went with the Lord 3 days ago....I told her that night before she passed to say "Oh death where is thy sting".....I saw her spirit come to me....she was full of uncondtional love.. her face was young and so beautiful full of light....she was wearing a soft white robe with bright gold glitter shining lining in a shape of angle wings ....she was floating with her hands flying sofly out.....she looked at me and was smiling....she looked so happy and free.....and then she fadded away and was gone... the next day everytime I cryed for her I smelled her sent on my tearfull tissue....I felt her with me......💧

I know if it was up to her, she would have never left you, the last thing a mother wants is, to see her child suffer or cry, it was her time to go, God called her home, it is difficult to accept, but given the choice, she would have never abandoned you. I Know, I adore my kids, would never leave them by choice.

Mom and Dad are gone now - 2002 and 2008. My sister died in 2002, 2 weeks after mom. I've just recently lost my oldest son at 28 years old (Dec 2018). I think these songs help us to open up our emotions and let out the grief, while still having hope.

Reading all of these comments has brought me some comfort knowing that it's ok to feel the way I do. I lost my mom Sept 30 2019. She was talking one minute in the ER and gone the next. My mom was everything to me...my best friend, my confidant, my safety net, my anchor. I know she's in Heaven. She loved our Lord but there are times when even an adult child wants their mom here with them. You feel as if your heart has been ripped out and the world should stop moving. I went into shock onto the floor of the ER when I heard the she's not breathing and the code blue. She had just been talking to me! I've lost a son to cancer several years ago and my mom was my rock. Losing my mom is suddenly has been every bit as hard as losing my son. I had her to cling to. Now I know what being an adult orphan is. Life changes. 💔

+Johnathan Moralli Sorry for your loss for your mom, I too lost mine this year 8th April 2015 and without mum, I have no-one else not even my siblings, I'm blessed that I got to spend the quality time with my mom before the angels too her, but I believe that when the time comes, she'll be waiting for me at heaven's gate, because I strongly believe before she took her last breathe, her mum came into the room and then my mom shed a tear and stopped breathing, that's when I knew that my nanna was in the room, ready to take her daughter to heaven because my mom smiled and cried at the end and stopped breathing. That night was such a traumatic night watching my mom die in front of me, I held her hand and layed across her body after she passed away for 2 hours, it was a touching, traumatic, and blessed night for me. Then the next day was just surreal, like lost in transition, I was lost, I had no words, nothing and I still feel nothing today-8 months on. They say you never really get over the loss of a loved one ever, I've certainly won't and you've proven that yourself. I miss my mom, we were extremely close and it feels like half of my soul is gone. RIP to your mom and my mom and many others.

I just lost my Mama a little over a month ago from a surgery to remove pancreatic cancer, it was so unexpected, I keep wondering what if we never gave her the surgery but then she would probably struggle with the cancer more. It has been the hardest thing ever. She was my absolute best friend. She was only 55 and I am only 23 and pregnant with my first. She was so excited to meet her grandson, it is going to be so hard when he is born. She gave her heart to God about a month before surgery, I will see her again.
