It is Sylvanas' Theme - it appears in Warbringers: Sylvanas, even before Lordaeron assault, appears later in Reckoning and also in Shadowlands cinematic. In the Lordaeron Warfront Horde Music it is very sorted out, and later in the post cinematics the same motif remains. Even some similarities can be found in the Lament of the Highborne. The pictures on the video AREN'T coincidence as well - wanted to point out the scenes where her theme appeared throughout the Battle for Azeroth and not only.
Love her or hate her you can’t deny Slyvannas is one of the most developed characters in gaming and one of the most compelling characters in Warcraft. Though I cannot agree that Warcrafts writing is consistent nor flawless. I believe Slyvannas is more nuanced then simply being evil. She’s done morally inexcusable things and more often then not has been motivated by spite in doing so. However she’s proven she cares about her people. She’s put herself in direct danger time and time again in order to do what she believed would save them. I agree that I do believe she cares about the Horde, Slyvannas has had it rough. Her life is continuous betrayal after manipulation that she’s been on the receiving end of. Of course it’s not an excuse however all she’s endured made her cold-heartedly detached and honestly I don’t blame her. But only in the next expansion when we see her “true plan” would I completely decide wether she doesn’t care at this point and is completely out for herself. She’s an interesting character with complex morals and a fascinating history. Not good nor evil, and that’s why I love her.
I like your thinking and agree that she is one of the most interesting characters, but concerning the "she cares about the Horde" part: How do you interpret her saying "You are all nothing!" at the front gates of Orgrimmar when she fought Saurfang? I was convinced that she ultimately cared for the Horde maybe in her own twisted way up until this point.
No, man. She is not developed. Her character was broken many times, making her Mary Sue. That is the problem. They add and add things to her withour developing her, but rather changing every time out of the blue.
Sometimes I feel sorry for Sylvanas. Reason she is mad is coz Arthas took everything from her and when she could join her people in heaven Arthas resurrected her into undead. That made her into the lady she is now. And all she want is vengeance and to kill the Lich King but other people came between and involved by the Lich King. Sylvanas think if she could kill the Lich King today she might think she done what she always wanted. But is that what she truly wants? She say she wanna put everyone free as the world is a prison. Everytime I see her face when she talks with Anduin I can see a soul in her face that wants to come back. Like she didn't wanna kill Anduin she still a Windrunner inside her.
half of these views have to be from me, lol. i just love this motif, and this is the only place where all occurrences of it are spliced together!! thank you so much for uploading this, it's a great addition to my playlist. :)
It's the reoccurring theme in every single cinematic post Lordaeron assault. Even appears in Shadowlands cinematic edit: also it appears in Warbringers: Sylvanas (before Lordaeron), also in Old Soldier, also in Reckoning... when the camera zooms at Sylvanas.
@@michram Yeah. My favourite part is the bit with just the choir and no drums or anything. Wish there was a version of that by itself. Would fit nicely in my haunting playlist. xD
