It’s not that she “had” to put the dog down. It’s that she told the story, because she thought it made her look tough; Like “I’m so tough, I can even put my own dog down if I have to.”
The problem is, this was a 14 month puppy (a year and 2 months), whom she claimed was untrainable. She didn’t attempt to rehome the dog. She didn’t try and find a trainer. She said she hated the dog, and she lead it to a gravel pit, and shot it in the head! She later followed that up with attempting to kill a goat, and killing 3 horses.

I’m an NYC poll worker for 7 years. I get really upset when someone arbitrarily says that we just hand votes out. We have no knowledge who someone votes for. If I hand out more votes then I can account for, the supervisor goes nuts. We don’t leave until all numbers match. If someone asks to vote that’s not on the roles, they get a special ballot that they vote on, place it in an envelope and hand it back to me. I don’t see anything. That vote gets to a judge and reps from both parties. They then research to see if the voter is legit.

Ghost writers on an autobiography is crazy
All of Trump's books were written by ghostwriters
as usual he is admiting to no writing any of art of the deal.
Even if the whole text is written by a ghostwriter, it is still ultimately the responsibility of the subject to read through and fact check the book before publication.
Trump is practically illiterate.
I don’t necessarily have a problem with that. Writing is a skill and as long as the book represents their words, that’s fine. If anything, that’s the ONLY time ghostwriters should be acceptable since nobody else can write your autobiography, yet not everyone is a good writer. It’s no different than having people write speeches for politicians.
But ghostwriting is a problem for other types of books, like Trump’s business books that are supposedly lessons about how he got rich yet it’s all fake. I wonder how many people wouldn’t have read Art of the Deal if they knew it was just general business advice from a journalist.
