I thought you could collect at Lotus but was told no. If you hit big, you have to go to the lottery HQ in BKK. I'm not sure if they have lottery offices in other provinces, maybe some other viewers here may know but if you are in Pattaya, the closest main lottery office is in Bangkok. If I ever get a big win, I will go to BKK to collect and vlog that as well 👍

Interesting video. I've seen the ticket vendors countless times, but I always assumed it was just a scam. Congrats on winning! I love that Robin Hood location... been there many times. If you like Thai food, try the chicken with cashew nut or fish & chips (comes with mushy peas) if you prefer western food. Both are delicious and not too expensive. I would have been eating there a few times this summer, but my trip to Thailand was cancelled due to CV. Hopefully, everything will be back to normal soon.

Nah, that's not so bad. I've paid more for a ribeye at the grocery store. There are wagyu (Japanese) steaks that you could add a zero to the price and still not have enough. If you don't mind grass finishes beef (eww), Australia can put out some nice cuts of meat so long as you stick to the Japanese breeds. The first time you have an A3 or better steak, it is a life altering experience. (Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe will finish the beef in pastures, Japan and the USA will finish the beef with corn. The corn finishing provided a fattier more umami steak with a more pronounced beef flavor. Grass finished steaks, often are more mealy and have a gamey taste.) When you grow up on one, it's hard to switch to the other, although when people do, it's often from grass finished to corn finished. It's a lot harder to get high grade steaks on grass.)

Yeah for the 13 years I have grown up in Chonburi my friends and families have at least won the lottery once, somtimes 30,000 baht once my friends mom won 60,000 baht. It is definitely more of a reality than in the states

Yeah for the 13 years I have grown up in Chonburi my friends and families have at least won the lottery once, somtimes 30,000 baht once my friends mom won 60,000 baht. It is definitely more of a reality than in the states

The Thai lottery is a really a raffle where the there are a fixed number of entries (numbers) which are sold.
In Australia, the equivalent standard game is the called the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot. The Super Jackpot, which costs $2.20 per number, has 270,000 numbers in the draw, which are only sold at a lottery agent shop, where the numbers and entry are generated electronically, or sold online. Players who spend a premium on their preferred numbers are morons as they do not understand how the mathematics of probability works.
The chances of *not* winning the first prize of $100,000 is 99.999%. Put another way, the chances of winning the first prize in either the Australian Super Jackpot or the Thai lottery is functionally zero percent.
