Man. What you're doing sounds amazing, and I wish I had your skills and knowledge within FL Studio. With that said, this should not be called a tutorial. If anything, it's more like a demonstration. Nothing is explained so it's impossible to know why you do what you do. Sure, I could follow your exact steps of when you create the bassline, and learn how to create that specific bassline, but past that point all you would be doing is ripping off the same song you're making here. Like, 10 minutes in to the video, are you even doing anything with the bassline anymore?
This is not supposed to be hate, not at all, I appreciate this video being out there and I will take a look at the beginning of what you're doing. Just gotta get Sylenth1 first, lol!

i7 2630QM but the real issue is that im using a laptop, this would never happen on a desktop.
I understand completely. I've had awful laptops for music production. That's actually the reason I decided to upgrade to a desktop last year
try to reduce the release parts of the envelopes in Spire(s) that's the main reason of it (for me Spire / factory 3 / Anjuna pluck with high release can kill FL instantly, AL goes only to 20% using the same setting (max release with the Anjuna patch) so it's seems an FL CPU/thread handling optimization issue for me)
i'm not completely sure that's all bad caused by CPU this case. Have you changed all power options to maximum performance? Did you disabled USB selective suspend setting? Processor performance core parking min cores set to 100% already mate? Also if you currently using few usb devices at same time you should get powered usb hub (your laptop may can't handle enough power to be able to have stable work condition of audio interface) Sorry for simple questions like that but I see that your CPU not even reach 99% usage. Looks like something other makes issue like this

alternatively for the 16th bassline you can simply not midi the notes that fall on the kick drum. Makes for a cleaner mix.

Excuse me, but is there something like Fruity Love Philter available as a VST, for my Ableton Live? I am not sure what does it do with the sound exactly, sounds like damping (like a side with kick on Compressor, without click), but I am not sure if there is more to it. If not, I am sure, I could use some Max for Live, for this.
It´s just volume automation ;) Volumeshaper, kickstart or lfo tool will do the same thing in this case.
I own LFO Tool, so cool, I can continue watching, I thought as much, but wasn't sure, since I am not still good as I wanted to be. Thanks a lot : )

You are quite good. You should do some high tempo (138-144bpm) deep Trance songs. Something like Raytheon's Bladerun, the world needs more music like that :)

I guess more its the soundcard, i7 should be more then enought. probably the soundcard cant fit the CPU fast enough with informations so its stucking. What ever great tutorial I love your Vids.
Its a laptop i7 running at 2 ghz so its not enough. When using my desktop i5 running at 3.2ghz with the exact same sound card this never happens.

my advice would be to trash fruityloops and get ableton
Ableton is trash.
How so? I was using FL for about 10 years and I got pretty good results, but since I switched to ableton about 3 years ago my music sounds even better. Its tighter. Ableton has much more sophisticated tools.
+Mike West Not for me, FL studio is much better if you know how to use it.
Please, dont do the DAW war! Use that, what ever suits you best.
Perhaps Albeton suits your workflow better, or the native plugins it shipped with are crispier, but to say that one DAW produces superior sounds over the other is a complete bullshit.
