After hearing her live version of this song last month, I listened to the original. I must say I'm addicted to the original song, it's so dark and sexy. I realize that's it not a sad song (when I read the English translation of the lyrics), but somehow, when I listen to Faouzia singing this song, it makes me emotional and sometimes listening to her vocals in Chinese bring tears to my eyes. She has such a beautiful instrument. Proud of my fellow Canadian!
