Mmmm seeing you guys with there big fancy boats... i am 13 and i turned a 250 explorer into a mini estuary fishing boat with a massive casting deck, nav lights, 6.5" light bar on the front, anchor light, strip lighting, a radio, mutiple rod holders and just to top it off a 40 year old 6hp johnson seahorse. Not the best for handling chop but somehow it has made across the Noosa bar a coupla times. This little guy has caught many fish and people always say that you need a big boat to catch fish but i think i might of proved them wrong. Soon i would like to be uprgading to a 440 renegade with a 60 etec or suzuki or a frontier. Love your videos guys keep it up
Ive just purchase the 370 outback explorer as an upgrade to an old tinny i had !! Im going to be using the current 15hp Yamaha on it !! Hope this matchup is going to be ok !!
@AlanBell-r6n Don't do what ?? Use the 15hp on it .. If so ...yes I found out and upgrade was needed .. For me in the boat on my own with fishing gear was very good .. But put another person in the boat and the game was over . But take out all the fishing gear and just 2 people going for a cruise was also fine .. I did get the floor installed on the boat .. So I think that extra weight made a difference.. And now I've gone with a 20hp yamaha 4 stroke .. Much much better .. I can comfortably ride with 2 people and fishing gear.. And a 3rd person if needed ..But that does hamper performance a lot .. Albeit top speed has dropped going from 2 stroke to 4 stroke .. But not by a lot .. That's my experience so far anyhow ..
How on earth do you come to $7800 bloody hell. Been around boats my whole life and this I why I have never bought a Quintrex, too bloody expensive. Riveted thwarts are you kidding me ? Seriously it’s 2018. Telwater is only concerned with their bottom line, end of story. Unfortunately I feel sorry for the Noobs to the boating scene that get stung with these sorts of deals.
Bob Builder to be honest!! Ive just been looking around to get a new boat and for what your getting these prices are very reasonable!! You need to get out and have a look at one of these for yourself and you will quickly see why the price !! And bear in mind as well his prices are inclusive of the motor !!!
I still have an idea of what prices are. Really have nothing against Caloundra marine, they seem like top blokes. They're only passing on costs from above. But to answer your question, if you shop around for trailer and outboard separately you can often do a better deal. Theres well know trailer manufacturers that sell direct to the public at much much cheaper prices than the dealers.

More in reference to the first engine in the lineup that's 2 cylinder.... for example the 6Hp is single cylinder.
I don't trust 370 darts because I've fallen out of one more than once
