2 questions: 1. No Necromancy, and yet over 100 souls. Armour or PVP feature? 2. Sadly, not a single Treant. Tyri or Sunweaver for a safe 6 mana? Or some UR or unlockable Epic?
1. You can get more souls at the end of a match by several ways. Other than necromancy trait, the following also raise the total amount of souls you get: Armor bonus, VIP bonus, and difficulty bonus. All of those trigger at the end of pretty much every battle except for difficulty bonus that does not work in PvP. 2. Knight Coronet would work. Whatever you put there needs to include blue mana and be tanky.
Hellcat is stronger, but Banshee gives souls. Both lineups work, so you are fine with keeping with what you have now. You don't need a Banshee in your current team since Valkyrie should give most or all the souls you need.
I have watched the video with the 9000+ souls in the hour which I imitated directly with the stage and it does not always fold besides I have no mystical map of it but still 150 souls can make and that on normal
It's weird , I've put Valk on front and the necro trait won't trigger at the end but if she dies or she's on second slot the triple necro will trigger. I'm on PC . Sorry for my English I' from Argentina :)
LOL sorry for spam but I just found one with treasure maps, i got the cap of 20 and then I got another one from a cascade and it actually broke the cap, I got 21 at the end of the match :P

all nice, but how newer players are supposed to have traited troops?
The 2nd and 3rd teams don't need traits to full do what they do.
Also exploring in kingdoms gain traitstones. I'm level 65 and that's how I gain mine. I have fully traited rangers and many more

That is very odd. That may be some kind of glitched interaction from her previously having necromancy.

what's a good way for a new player to get some troops
Doing PvP then using most of that gold on gold keys and all of the glory on the weekly glory troop packs.

I'm having better luck with Courage, Valkyrie, Druid, Banshee
That works too with +2 red, +1 yellow, -1 brown banner. Loop the Courage on skulls or blues then convert them over with Banshee.
