Dragonfly is great but just soooo overpriced for the quality it is delivering. I got it for 90 € and felt, this was too much (steel and knife concept over all is reat though). But seing the retail price is nuts compared to a fill blown Houge Deka Magnacut or other offers.
Less tough steels (which include some premium steels like Maxamet, S90V, M390, and 20CV) can't be sharpened to as acute a secondary bevel. I don't go below 17 degrees per side on these. If the main way you lose edge is from chipping (rather than abrasive dulling), consider a tougher steel like high-speed tool steels 3V, Cru-Wear, 4V, M4; stainless steels 14C28N, AEB-L, LC200N, and MagnaCut, or carbon steels 5160, 52100, 80CrV2, A2. These have generally less carbide volume (and smaller carbides), which means moderate wear resistance, but greater impact toughness.
Nope, my Tenacious is the best Spyderco ! I'm not afraid to wear it anytime, anywhere and for anything because I can afford to replace it. Most people having priceless knives use it like ladies use jewels 😂
If you want it I'd get it now because I'd say its almost guaranteed they're going to up the prices of their lineup in January like they have the past 2 years.
@HarryBallsich Found them going for $180-200 some places with the sales going on. Thankfully I don't have to pick one up since I already got a PM2 in maxamet. The techno 2 is calling my name though.
Spyderco's are like glocks. Affordable, basic, and all of them look the same. Benchmade makes better stuff. Spyderco is like a cheap budget knife brand that wants to be high end. Half of their stuff is made overseas.
Lmao “Benchmade makes better stuff.” All their knives are overpriced and consistently have issues with quality control. The mini Osborne I bought was duller than any $50+ knife I have and the action was mediocre. Also, how is their knives being made oversees a bad thing? Their Taiwanese and Japanese facilities have consistently put out some of the best knives in the market.
@@jax3695 their Chinese knives are crap. Tenacious i got sucks. Doesn't hold and edge and super cheap materials and quality control. Benchmade's are prices high for a reason. Your paying for a premium American made knife. Plus their quality control is amazing. Never had any problems with quality and i own 6 benchmade. If their is anything wrong with a knife their warranty is the best in the industry. Knives are like cars. Would you rather buy an affordable mass produced car from overseas or a quality American made car that is priced a little higher because its made here and with better materials?
@@StoneHands25 what knife did you buy that had a bad heat treat? You know if there's anything wrong with it they got a really good warranty they will take care of it for free. All you gotta pay for is shipping there. I send my knives back to get resharpened and to get worn down parts changed out. They send it back to me in a few weeks looking brand new and its all free.

Don't forget the best 1...Sage 5.
Manix 2 is the best knife I have owned
Of course I’m seeing this on 7-13-23
Para 2 is the only choice
Got it 😊
Spidey chef being 404 dollars
They never give prices !
Edit nevermind he did at the end 😂
Why not a manix 2?
Ohhhh; the Siren looks really nice. Would work great for the humidity of Houston.
Strange that the Stretch 2XL in Cruwear isn’t on this list 🤨
The K390 leafjumper is ridiculously slept on...
When is the Military 2 dropping?
Had to pull the trigger on that deal! 😊
Really sucks when you buy a knife and then it gets the premium steel upgrade the next year. Looking at you CRJB Pyrite.
That resilience is calling me but I have the Military 2 on pre-order.
They sure are proud of their knives though.
Spyderco is king 👑
That's nice David, but where's my CPM M4 Tenacious?
Really loving the “slightly larger than average” resilience lightweight. Do Checkout Already!!!! 😂
No prices?
not hard to check your self lol
I'm curious about k390. I gotta try that
Im digging it
Get 1!it's good stuff fr

Just got the notification for this short. 😢
I always ruin my knife blades or chip them anyone know how to fix that like what am I doing wrong?

I was going to buy the para 3 in maxamet but even on sale it’s more than it used to be. Kinda crazy but oh well.
If you want it I'd get it now because I'd say its almost guaranteed they're going to up the prices of their lineup in January like they have the past 2 years.
Bought the para 3 maxamet for 260ish a couple months ago. It's 30 bucks off is the actual sale price.

I don't have any of these 😢
Neither do I, but I do own six other Spyderco's
Well, nows a better time than ever to get one lol
None of the cheap ones are in stock anywhere 😫
The stretch 2 gets no love…
I want a Shaman really bad. Just having a hard time dropping $200+ on it
Buy once cry once. I did it and don't regret it. Most expensive one I have but well well worth it.
No Manix 2 really
there r other good knives, it's a showcase lol, it'd be a pretty boring showcase if they just only showed the big hits
Damn it, you got me again! Sent one to my brother.
Very nice......❤
I love spyderco 👀😀😘
My maxamet blade chipped and the logo partially rubbed off with very light use. what the heck! from a spyderco dealer
Hey look, no shamans...as usual
He talks like a comedian, forgot his name though. 🤔
I have all of them. 😂
Dang 15 months late thanks RUclips wtf
I don’t like the way their knives look cheap and insubstantial. Just my opinion I know they’ll cut stuff but I won’t ever buy one.
Id still rather have my benchmade 940 it’s considered to be the best edc ever made after all
those blades so ugly... cant get over it

I somewhat feel the same but at the same time I don't like benchmade either they have bad heat treats from my experience and super thick geometry

The Seki City knives are really good quality
