I found codes, statutes, and ordinances where one couldnt grow nor collect rain water. Once you know how nature works, no man made law can ever affect you without ones consent. keep it going!

I'm moving into my new house in 8 weeks. First thing I'm gonna do is put up a fence, get a cute dog like Tuck, and start my own food forest. Our food here in the grocery stores is insane, not a single week goes by that I don't feel sick from it. This is no longer something that's nice to have, you HAVE to have a food forest nowadays.
While this has only happened to me with one dog and I have owned many, I did have a toy poodle who could tell the minute I started working with cauliflower and would come demand some. Tuck is very unique I think and adorable .
As a newer gardener (I’m in year 3) who has discovered it to be a passion, I can’t say how thankful and excited I am to see your videos come out. It’s so inspiring and wonderful because of all you pour into each video. Thanks for all the experience and wisdom you share with us. I’m hoping to have better success with growing lettuces in general and brassicas without so many holes. God bless you.

🌺Aloha, your vegetables wow don't have any bug damage and so green. Even your strawberries, no bug hole on leaves. Your garden is growing faster than ours and we planted before you. I'm with Tuck on the fresh celery. I like it in soups and stir fries. I guess it's an acquired taste like tomato juice. LOL. I absolutely love tomatoes in every other form. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

My first dog also loved his veggies. Always had a piece of broccoli, cauliflower and a baby carrot with his dinner. He'd save them for last after he ate his meat and biscuits, then chow down on his veggies!

You should try some Katarina cabbage. 45 days if I remember correctly. Did beautifully in my Jersey garden last year, and I was blown away by how quickly it matured. Amazing.
I love growing celery. I wash it. Dry it and powder it. A tspn of powder is worth 3 stalks. Amazing for adding to soups, stews, gravy and seasoning. A sprinkle in scrambled eggs with powdered dried tomato and shallot flakes...yum.
I love seeing the harvest videos so much fun. I’m so excited to harvest myself this year can’t wait. ❤❤❤❤ for tuck but at the moment I’m only harvesting very few strawberries and rhubarb. But I can’t wait for other foods to grow

I think I have shuksan strawberries and I got 2 that keep shooting out runners! This year I fertilized as soon as they came back in early spring and the strawberries are huge and plenty. I love my daily garden inspections and learn so much every season from my observations and channels like yours. ❤ Tuck ❤ Gorgeous brassicas James!
I stand corrected. NJ average humidity level is higher, but your dew point is higher. Go figure! I learned something; I considered OK rather dry (going west the change from green to brown was memorable for this east coast person), so I thought the air was too. 😂

You know when you have been in the garden long enough that I know just by sound that a robin has a nest in one of your trees. I hear him yelling.
Haha! Yup! There are soo many nests in the garden this year. A few morning dove ones, and even a duck tried to set up shop in the forest lol
I love robins. I had a robin that came to my stairs every day. I would give him some seeds and a blueberry. He hasn’t been by in a week. So sad.
Our mourning doves come back every year and have babies on the porch.
