Drive on major highways during the off peak times. When traffic build up starts, schedule a rest stop! That way there is one less car on the road and you get some rest!!

Another use for recirc button is if the a/c has been running just long enough to cool the coils down turn the a/c off and turn the recirc on. It will pump colder and colder and colder air in while keeping gas usage to a minimum
@BRIGHT SIDE✅ Really flying cars dangerous? If put into the wrong hands yes and if not piloted correctly also yes, but look at the possibilities: no waiting for traffic at rush hour, freedom in the sky, going to country to country without a plane ticket (if you have passports it's ok);etc. It just make things easier and if overpopulation exist then flying cars won't be the problem. The problem would be time, enough resources, and elderly folk that won't move on from their ground cars. Am I wrong to say that flying cars are not dangerous, or am I right?
Never keep medication in your car, the heat can cause a chemical reaction changing the molecular structure of the medication. Keep the recirculate button on to save wear on the car and keep the temperature even. If you are constantly bringing in outside air the engine has to adjust the air to the inside temperature.
One would hope the only reason medication is in your car is because A its in your purse/wallet for daily use. B your brining it into the hotel when you get there.
@@techgeekwarren4504 not all medications are suseptable to heat/temp. A first aid kit with antibiotic cream/spray is not the same as keeping a bottle of perscription meds. Also most of europe is significantly cooler year round than places like florida california texas northern austrailia japans large island etc... if you cant remember the last time the temp rose above 100 where you live maybe it is safe to keep some medications.
DeeDee Porter , in reality the recalculation feature will not save wear on any AC component. On most cars the recirculation setting could in fact be worse for the Blower motor since it’s pulling air through smaller duct work inside the car compared the fresh air setting. Regardless, most new-ish cars do all this automatically so you shouldn’t even have to worry about messing with the settings.
I would rent a room before I sleep in my truck! Its nice to take a shower and feel fresh and clean!! Plus instead of cables it’s better to have a portable jump Box with a built-in air compressor and light! And always good to have and triple A!!!
I'm a earthmoving field service tech,so I drive a lot.Cable tie a 5 liter water bottle on your front bull bar,to keep it really cool. When working in very hot temperatures, drive with your heater on and not your A.C.It really works.Always fill your vehicle up with petrol or diesel during night time.
I would like to actually mention 2 tips that can save you from complications:- 1. Keep an old tablet or phone in an invisible spot. When the car goes missing, you can locate it by searching Find my device on google (note that you have to use the account that is tied to your device and if it is iPad well idk). 2. Keep a power bank handy. It might save you when you have depleted the battery in your car. Thank you!
For a long trip, have a good thermos filled with a hot beverage. If you are traveling in winter, have kitty litter, extra wool blankets(wool because if they get wet -they will still keep you warm), a very bright color clothe for sticking out the window for emergencies and notice.
It's always worked when coffee cans were METAL & maybe even better in plastic to hold a roll of toilet paper in case you can't make it to the rest area there's always the woods along the way.
"Hang a shoe organiser on the back of your passenger seat to keep things organised" - as the video shows a bloke outing stuff in a basket in the boot!!
Also make sure u have a tire re patch kit and a mini air compressor most cars nowadays don't have spares and a patch kit and compressor will be a big help!
Don't use the cheap USB chargers, all of them put out radio waves and can mess up the radio and other electronics in the running of it. My cheap one messed with the radio, unplugged it and everything is fine. I learned about it on the "Scotty Kilmer" channel here. I couldn't figure out why my radio was losing my station at times. My car came with a built-in 110v AC converter in it so I use my home chargers now. Running your air or heater on recirculation for too long can cause drowsiness. If you get tired, cool air, peppy music, and conversation helps, pull over and rest is best. Get out and walk around every so often to help with circulation and cramps.

Ok but you better not eat or use phone (google maps..) while driving cuz they're a destraction & can cause accident. If you wanna eat or search where you are or anything that could destract, stop at an area where you're allowed to & do it there :) PS: Driving safely is cool!
As for the dual-port USB charger, remember you need a minimum of 1A (ampere) per device, and a little more if you use a hub in the port. Best get the newest USB 3 hub with compatible ports if you do.
The makeshift trash can out of a cereal box in the car is a fine idea but i got a 98 Ford Explorer and 2002 Honda Civic Lx. Honestly no optimal secure place to it in either vehicle.
Hey everyone! What hacks do you use to reduce car trip mess and stress?

Stopping by at the gas station or fast food restaurant to ask direction is a life hack? Mind blowing
