    Revelation 14:6‭-‬10
Then I saw another angel flying high overhead, with the eternal gospel to announce to the inhabitants of the earth - to every nation, tribe, language, and people. He spoke with a loud voice: “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship the one who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.” And another, a second angel, followed, saying, “It has fallen, Babylon the Great has fallen. She made all the nations drink the wine of her sexual immorality, which brings wrath.” And another, a third angel, followed them and spoke with a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he will also drink the wine of God’s wrath, which is poured full strength into the cup of his anger. He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the sight of the holy angels and in the sight of the Lamb,
This passage in context does NOT say what Adventism makes it say. It does not command seventh-day Sabbath keeping. It does not identify churches that meet on Sunday as Babylon, and it does not say the mark of the beast is worshiping on Sunday! Yet this is what Adventism claims this passage commands. This is terrible theological manipulation on the part of SDAs. It is reading INTO the passage, not exegesis of what the passage plainly states.

Thank you for your response! The most important thing to be reminded of is that Revelation is a highly symbolic book. It’s filled with beasts, characters, prophetic times, geographical locations, events and occurrences, etc.-most of which is meant to be interpreted symbolically. The Three Angels Messages are of no exception. In the last days, are there literally going to be three angels seen flying in the heavens declaring messages loudly for the whole world to hear? Obviously, there is a symbolic meaning to this. The ancient city of Babylon fell back in 539 BC. So, obviously the second angels message is speaking of a spiritual Babylon. These are just some examples. While there are a few symbolic aspects to the Three Angels Messages, much of the message can and should be interpreted literal as well. However, we should always allow the Bible to interpret itself. There are going to be times where we must rely on the Holy Spirit to give us the spiritual insight and interpretive knowledge to rightly divide these prophetic passages. Revelation calls it the Spirit of Prophecy. (Revelation 19:10) So, if we are led by the Holy Spirit, then He will guide us to understand the contents of prophecy.
When we practice appropriate exegesis and Biblical hermeneutics, then we will be led to study the words and texts in a deeper manner. For instance, you mentioned that the Three Angels Messages “does not command seventh-day Sabbath-keeping.” While the text does not explicitly mention Sabbath-keeping, a proper exegetical study and research of the language will lead you to the 4th commandment of the 10 commandments. The first angels message says “and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.” (Rev. 14:7) Almost those exact words are found at the end of the 4th commandment in Exodus 20. “For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore, the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.” (Exodus 20:11) The fourth commandment calls God’s people to honor and observe the seventh-day Sabbath of the Lord. Therefore, the evidence clearly shows that to worship the Creator, as specified in the first angels message, we must honor Him by keeping the seventh-day Sabbath holy.
You also said “It does not identify churches that meet on Sunday as Babylon, and it does not say that the Mark of the Beast is worshipping on Sunday.” You are correct that it does not explicitly use those words, but that does not mean that the language is not symbolic of those truths. The Bible also doesn’t explicitly say that using certain curse words is a sin, but the principle is clearly communicated throughout. Neither does Jesus explicitly say that the parables and rebukes given in Matthew 21-23 are meant for the Judeo nation of Israel, but the language clearly communicates that it can be for none other than that nation who constantly rejected Christ, Israel. Therefore, Babylon is a prophetic symbol of the counterfeit religious system that offends God with its blasphemous and apostate works. Revelation 17 symbolically depicts her as a harlot woman. A woman in Biblical prophetic symbolism represents a church system. (Jeremiah 6:2; 2 Corinthian 11:2) Therefore, Babylon must be a false church system that does not follow the principles of truth and the commands of God. There are multiple ways to prove this.
You are also right that the scriptures do not explicitly state that the Mark of the Beast is “worshiping on Sunday.” Neither does it say it is a microchip, a computer, a barcode, a vaccination, etc. However, what the third angels message does say is “Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.” (Rev. 14:12) The Mark of the Beast issue must have something to do with the commandments of God as the saints are described a commandment-keeping people. The first angles message links back to the 4th commandment, and the third angels message reminds us how important it is to be a commandment-keeping people. Therefore, if you do a responsible study of the identification of Mystery Babylon and come to know what it is she has counterfeited, then you will realize that it has very much to do with the one commandment that God said “Remember.” (Exodus 20:8) However, it must be clarified that there is nothing wrong with worshipping God on Sunday. The problem of the Mark of the Beast issue lies within the concept of rejecting the true Biblical Sabbath by replacing it with a counterfeit Sabbath.
So, all in all, Seventh-day Adventists are not manipulating anyone or anything. On the contrary, what Seventh-day Adventists have exemplified is the proper rightly dividing and application of the Biblical research process. The authentic process of exegesis and Biblical hermeneutics often requires extensive cross-referencing and defining of terms in such a way to help amplify the prophetic symbolism and message. No other protestant movement has come closer to making sense of these passages than the Seventh-day Adventist movement. This is due mostly to the fact that God has given her the testimony of Jesus Christ which is the Spirit of Prophecy. (Revelation 19:10) I hope this helps. Yea sure. You find it online. Its a lie and a myth that SDA teachings are works based. SDA teach the biblical doctrine that the commandments are still valid, but we are not saved in any way by keeping them. Salvation is exclusively by grace through faith in Jesus substitutionary death on the cross. Obedience is not legalism.

@@patrickhamilton5829 It is better to obey than to sacrifice! When neglecting one commandment opens the door to millions of false teachings.

We are to bring THE Gospel (1 Cor 15:1-4) and to content for the faith. Your cult is works based and is under Gal 1:8-9
My salvation is not based upon my works it is through His grace alone that I am saved even yet while a sinner.
Anyone claiming to walk a holy life to maintain salvation is a follower and teacher of satan

THERAPTURECOMES No one is working for their salvation. However a soul which has grace lives a life of obedience to God. That is what grace is all about. So just because Jesus has died I can do anything I want and I will be saved?

You are a serpent speaking out both sides of your mouth
It is one way or the other. You cannot say outside one side of your mouth grace through faith and then out the other side but you must walk a holy life or you were not saved to begin with.
      That is satanic
Rom 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
Yo9u contradict this verse and many others that say the exact same thing.

It is called CONTENDING FOR THE FAITH. I am here to point out satanic cult teachings in hopes that just one leaves the cult and becomes a real Christian.
