Stunning morning in southern illinois today! In the high 60's! I opened my door to let my dogs out and just said " THANK YOU"! Yall stay as safe as you can and be grateful for another day despite whatever there is out there. Thank you, Max!
Northern Illinois is BEAUTIFUL too! It was 57 during my morning walk with my dog! He’s a Samoyed so he loved it much more than the 70* humid mornings lol
Meanwhile, in Eastern Washington, it hasn't gotten below 90 in a few weeks and has been hitting over 100 degrees on many days. This weekend, it will again be 107. Its freaking hot!
@CN3891 Totally agree. My body doesn't regulate its temperature with hot and cold, so I overheat super easily. Lots of water can help, but when I'm outside, I have to constantly use the hose to cool down, lol.
Weather was crazy late last night. Ironny is I was driving my friend home from seeing twisters 🤣. All good had to pull over once bc I couldn't see anything.
Abner bhattacharya here. Max could have had tv stations contact him. But Max, ryan hall, pow ponder & Travis Roberts do good jobs as independent meteorologists on their own time & that's better than working for tv stations with instability in media.
Beautiful morning for the next three days! Also getting some rain for the next four days on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday but partly cloudy conditions expected at 1 PM, but it’s still beautiful the way it is right now y’all stay safe grateful desperate whatever out there Thank you, Max
yes!! finally we can have a break from the heat(: but thunderstorms eek they just scare me for night tornados, Thank you so much @MaxVelocity-SevreWeatherCenter!!💖💖💖
Here in Idaho yesterday I got an alert for lighting that was in my area, and they weren’t joking.part of my field caught on fire. These showers came out of nowhere! But we needed the rain 🥵
Great job Max. I’m in the northern coastal part of SC, and we really need some rain. It’s been unusually dry the last two weeks and the crops are having a hard time
I'm in West Virginia, which as usual is among several states never spoke about in weather channels. It has been in the high 90's for weeks on end, with very little rain. So a major shift is very welcome. Today in the 70s , now..Bring on some snow :)
How can there possibly be any more rain in Ohio? Raining here non-stop since November 2023 ⛈️ ☔️ The occasional tornado🌪️ mixes it up a little bit. 👍 Yesterday again rainstorms from hell combined with power outages in Westerville, Columbus, Ohio. Don't understand why we have a third world power grid? ⚡️
Tanks for the update! I'm happy to have this cold front. It's not often that highs only peak at 84 and mostly feel like 84, especially in Tennessee or the southeast in general
We're in NE Mississippi and have been without rain and hot. Finally some rain yesterday and overnight. But real feel has been 100. With my limited time I haven't been able to get the next batch of seeds into my garden.
@@corinnajones9030 I'm glad y'all had rain. Real feel has ranged from 65-105 which doesn't seem as bad as the past 2 summers (65 has been the low a few times throughout) and dew points this year have been gross but I feel like they've been slightly less gross compared to '22 and '23 leading to less rain. I hope your garden does well
@@corinnajones9030 I actually have never been to Mississippi. I do agree freedom is always nice. That said, if I do move, it'll be towards the Cumberland Plateau where highs and heat index values only peak at 90 and 93 respectively and they get more snow than the rest of Tennessee
@@matthewcscates4300 We're over snow. And we've spent much of the last 2 weeks in Tennessee for the birth of our first grandbaby. Between Nashville and Clarksville, we've had our fill for crazy traffic. A traffic jam here is 5 cars at the 4-way stop.
We finally had some rain yesterday in Pennsylvania! We really needed it very badly. It’s so beautiful today, I won’t need my ac! Thanks for the update Max!
We had a crazy microburst in milford nh. It took out so many trees in the neighborhood and a tree even fell on someone houses. The wind and lightning was insane. Peak wind was 95mph.
I'm in Central Texas by Austin and this summer has been cooler thank God we have not actually hit 100 this year, at least where I'm at. Thank you so much for what you do, I don't watch television or any mainstream channels so thank you
Wow!!! I'm up between Wichita Falls n DFW and we've had quite a few days over 100°!!! No 110°'s YET tho!! Finally have a cooler day, only mid to low 90s today. 🤣😅😁 God bless Texas!!
Thankyou MAX. I'm loving these cooler Temps in NC. Might not last but beats wringing the water out of my clothes every time I get home from going on errands. 😂
This is getting good, and less severe weather is likely, and a summer cooldown is coming, but the concerning news, severe weather could return to the Great Plains
PacNW has its own climate of persistent, oppressive high pressure, along with ungodly heat. Up until the last 8-10 years, this repetitive stunning heat in the PacNW did not exist.

South Western Indiana here. Just east of Evansville. Was the Mt Vernon tornado close to you ?

I know a lot of people are happy that it's been cold this summer, Mostly but Dang it I bought a pool. It's too cold to swim in it. 😢 😂
@@CrayolaCoffeeBeanSame! I’m in northern Illinois. The dogs are thrilled to be outside.
I live in Joliet. Beautiful morning. Nice breeze. Sunny. High of 70's
First thing I do in the morning is check out Max weather. I have kids in 3 different states, so this is my one stop report. Thanks Max!
You have any in KY?
Me too
Just got back from running in Chicago (7:30am) .... lovely ... sunny, cool ... like air conditioning.
Yes! Hi of 75 today. Windows were open last night.

Hi from Alberta, Canada. I wish there was someone in Canada doing as indepth a report as what you do.

Chilly morning in indiana, but the windows will be open today... 😊

That’s dangerous. Keep water in the fridge and ice cubes in the freezer.
And pray the AC doesn’t go out.

Toronto’s gotten very rainy so far.
Really need some cold and dry air.
It's definitely cold. Happy about this. Tired of sweating
First time I finally get to sit on my porch and actually injoy the cool weather with no storms or intense heat
59° in Council Bluffs Iowa this morning, glorious cool weather for mid July! Have fun this weekend with Conner!
It was 50 degrees this morning in the northwoods of wisconsin not unusual but definitely was needed
You are very good at what you do Max, excellent presentation and information!
We got 2 1/2 inches of those thunderstorms the last two days. Our first real rain in over a month. I am not going to miss watering the garden.

Hi Max, I have to compliment you on your speaking abilities. You are very smooth and professional. I'm surprised a TV station hasn't hired you yet.

It’s been amazing to talk to people across the country experiencing hotter temperatures than what we have had here in Texas 😮 in July
