In my opinion any unit with that msrp should come standard with at least 200 watts of solar and at a 2000 watt inverter. Then have lithium as a option.

And that’s why the panels should be 1000W at minimum and 3 kW pure sine inverter. But to your point … all manufacturers should at least provide the weather sealed connection from the roof to the electrical panel to support 1000W or MORE of solar panel generation so that the buyer can up fit the system to there needs.

We purchased a 2022 Rebel 30R almost identical to this model in July ‘21. Traded our gas V-10 class c. Wanted to tow our Jeep Gladiator and the previous motorhome with the V-10 really struggled at steeper grades. The Rebel is heavier and doesn’t get blown around like our class-c did. Feels stiffer and safer. For 2-people there is plenty of room. The ceiling height inside is 7’-2” which makes it feel large and open. All capacities are big too. We’ve averaged 9.1 mpg pulling our Jeep. The 4wd is also a bonus and has low range. We are happy with our Rebel 👍

I just realized when you showed the red one, that this is the one you reviewed when it was just a prototype in their manufacturing plant. I love the changes they've made, especially the side open doors and moving the TV above the dinette. It's so great to see that they take the community thoughts to heart. By the way, that was (still) an Onan QD 6000, which is definitely a Diesel generator.
I dislike the brown colors inside, but I see options on their site for "frost" color cabinetry and "stone" color furniture. At this price point I would like to see soft close cabinetry, and I would also like a power reel for the 50 amp power cord, instead of seeing it shoved into the rear storage.

That chassis is made at the International truck plant in Springfield, Ohio. I used to work at that location piggy backing trucks for Dallas & Mavis co. delivering trucks all over the US and Canada. The term piggy back means to transport up to four trucks at the same time. You deliver the rear truck first then the next rear truck, repeat until you have no trucks to drive, then you fly or drive home back to Springfield, Ohio.

Love the changes....side opening doors, the addition of liquid springs is awesome, hopefully there will be an option for the front end soon too.
Misses on this unit are - LACK OF PANTRY (I'd rather give up some of that fridge or bedroom space to get a small pantry), TV setup (like the location, just wish it was on a televator and stored in the down position with a large window behind it...passengers do like to look out of things besides a porthole), lastly the lack of solar on this unit. Would expect at least 200-300W of solar on the roof.
The cab is what it is and I can live with that for all the other pluses the unit brings to the table.

Last thing, the lack of comfort features in the driver area, come ON NExus quit going cheap on the Chassis, should have Arm rests and heated seats minimum, you are driving hours and hours in there. because of these things we went with the competitions 4x4 Super C and it has not disappointed. You're in Texas, Young Man lol. 3 of my dislikes, which isn't much, had to look hard 1) there is no cover for the sink or no counter extension 2) the valances, so I agree with Andrea 3) no window on the upper sleeping area (forgot the name of it). 3 likes, I might come up with more 1) like how you can't hear the engine noise in the cab. 2) love how the dining room windows were split around the TV and it's it's good size. 3) the upper sleeping quarters is very spacious. 4) there was a piano hinge underneath the queen bed. I know, it wasn't a storage but there was a piano hinge. You didn't even catch that lol. Beautiful RV once again.

    @tremjar1305 2 года назад +1

love it.... agree should be window over bunk, always like that, and skylights... tv in living room about perfect.. yes bigger is always nicer, but would not fit between windows, and those are partly what makes it a good spot, on those raining lightning type days can sit and watch tv and catch lightning bolts and such outside at same time, still plenty big enough. kitchen could use some pantry space for sure, but do like oven and conv. microwave both...even though i do not cook much.. when i do the oven is very often involved, for instance might want to make frozen tater tots and chicken nuggets... both need oven... but 2 different temps, 2 different times. well here can cook them both at same time. rather than one at a time while other sits around... and with 15k towing.... bringing things with you that are not in there such as a washer and dryer are no problem at all if you decide you need them... could easily set up a cargo trailer as toy hauler, workshop, and laundry room, along with its own water and power.

OK, you said you read the comments. We will see... Here is my "plus/delta" (hint, hint) for the Rebel 30R Pluses - 1) brown, or any mid- to dark color (or patterned fabric) for upholstery because it is less likely to show smudges and wear. 2) LOVE the TV directly across from "viewing area" (sofa or chairs). 3) Stove w oven - yay! 4) Front cap is all one piece, no window. Anyone who spends any time in a cab-over bed (even for a nap), can tell you it gets warm up there. With a window, it magnifies the heat.
Deltas (things to change or improve) 1) Provide an option for pleated shades instead of roller shades (gr-r-r). 2) a fabric option for "furniture". Many older RVs have "pleather" that has cracked, flaked and otherwise degraded, often in a short time if use is frequent and heavy. 3) As Andrea noted - provide pantry space. Could be as simple as putting dividers in the under-dinette drawers, or slide out racks in the under-sink cupboard. 4) Extra flip up counter space in kitchen. 5) King bed. Or longer Queen bed. Anyone over 6' tall is going to hang over the edge of a 74" long bed. 6) NO window over headboard or head-sides (when slide is out) of bed. Put it on the back wall. I have my reasons....
THANK you for all your great reviews!!

I'm going to have to ask the """BIG QUESTION"""
With today's fuel prices, what kind of Fuel Economy does that RV get.
As far as the plus's and minuses are concerned. I love that RV, big enough to be comfortable in, yet small enough to go on a lot of trails that most other RV's similar to it wouldn't be able to conquer. I do have a couple of thing that I don't like. That bed l👀ks like it was built on a budget, there's no headboard and the mattress is thin and won't last very long. Why aren't there any Solar Panels on the roof, I can't believe that I'd be expected to use propane every time I want a/c...
Other than that, it a pretty sweet unit...👍🏞👍🏞👍

Why no diesel generator? Several manufacturers caught heck from customers years ago because between appliances and the propane generator those people who liked to dry camp ran out of propane in 3-4 days, sometimes sooner if it was hot weather. I really thought the manufacturers had learned their lesson.

We have an ambulance on that same chassis at work. It’s so far a decent chassis. I’m not a fan of the view from the windshield. With the hood and angle it’s not the best IMO. Liquid springs are very nice. Surprised it’s 4wd but ok. It’s kinda low to get off road much but it can help in a pinch with some decent tires.
    Dislike No solar? 😢
Dislike a full wall slide, they break.
Dislike the transition from cab to Rv, kinda hard but it is what it is.
    Like the short length.
    Like the nexus construction
    Like the look overall.

Nice unit, but a couple of things 1) interior is so dated and dark...if they had used lighter furniture and wall board color it would helped a lot 2) a diesel generator would make more sense, since it's a small propane tank and with heat/hot water/cooking and generator use off grid that tank won't last long 3)72% stronger chassis does equal 72% safer -- don't a one for one comparison 4) MATT please please stop putting you dirty shoes on the furniture... I don't understand why this is so difficult to not do... It's so unprofessional

    Don’t likes …
1 - No collar to put around the stinky slinky or the power cord when they come up into their respective compartments potentially leading to uninvited guests (don’t ask me how I know).
2 - No solar standard to keep house and vehicle batteries charged (silly considering a 12vdc fridge is standard).
3 - No dimensions for the outside storage compartments or the related doors.
    Loves …
    1 - 4X4 diesel with a diesel generator.
2 - Everything is accessible even with the slide in.
3 - Tank sizes … fresh, black, grey, fuel & propane.
Beautiful finish overall. My wife might give up her ideas about something tiny. I have 4 years total of full time experience in a 45’ 5th wheel in the Mojave, and a 28’ 5th wheel in the mountains of Colorado. Prefer something a little larger, but still park access. This fits the bill as long as our E-Bikes that fold to 15.7” wide × 33.7” long × 26.6” high will fit into a couple of those outside storage compartments.

A factory rep gave the dimensions of the outside storage and size of the access doors. When I consider what I’m getting for the price, I’ll take this over a Coachmen Galleria any day - more space cheaper to maintain. Now to see one in person.

Have to agree with Andrea about the valences, they’re ugly. If I designed this interior, I would have black & white check and toile fabric on the valences with light grey interior cabinets. I’d go for the “French Country” vibe.

worst floorplan diagram I've ever seen for an RV. 3500 miles, used? Likes: pass thru storage, ccc, tv position, drawer storage under dinette seating, Dislikes: agree about paint color and the red one is awesome, not sure what the advantage of a 4x4 is?, brown interior, hate the sink behind the dinette seating, ppp ( you poop with door open?)?, window where headboard should be (deal breaker). Liquid Springs sounds like an ad.
