Omg… no narrative, nothing spoken about the history of these places ( how long they were opened, when they were shuttered, WHY they were shuttered ), no description of the type of activity that’s taken place since… & eventually have NIN’s “Something I Can Never Have” in an instrumental piano as the soundtrack!? PERFECTION!!!
St Johns, I lived there in the 1990s. A milestone in my life. The building missing its walls was the classrooms. The area with graffiti, the door went to the nursing area. We played ping pong in the wide open area. The main building was the door... the showers were downstairs and the dorm areas were on the top two floor. In the church, I and a few peers started a band, per encouragement from the Patricians, and we would played a few nights in the alter area. Learned to play Tejano on that alter. When I picked up the book, Anselm's Proslogion, the man said, "Just read it and let it sink in."
St John's I remember in 1997 my first night of training on that post I made my first round by myself I went into st John's school took a drink of water had a Erie feeling that something was behind me it was a floating nun with no face or legs I hauled ass outside so fast
So, what I heard about that asylum in San Antonio is that police use it occasionally to train officers/SWAT on clearing rooms. Its not advised to explore it under most circumstances so take extreme precaution if you decide to do so
St. John is apartments now, hot wells is a park open to the public and the hospital is located near some type of detention center so cops are in the area 24/7.
@@larryblancas2558 just got my night vision goggles and wanted to explore these places at night... guess not. This city really knows how to ruin all the fun.
It would be far more informative if you were to provide some narration. Where are these places (other than "san Antonio")? What happened to them? Are they haunted?
Hot Wells was a bath house because of the hot water springs, there was a little community in the area called Terrell Wells which also had a bath house. This was not like Hot Springs National Park,. Arkansas which the native Americans used as a healing place and it was also natural grounds.zThey had seperate areas for.men and women. My greataunt Helen was a lady,s massuer at the Buckstaff Bath House in Hot Springs.St.John,s was a Catholic seminary whete men learned to be a priest. They had nuns who cooked and cleaned. It closed because they didnt have enough students. Not sure of the other place
Is the Catholic school near probandt area? I work nearby and thought I saw it when I was delivering Christmas presents to some families of our school. Any idea why it closed?
I've been to the insane asylum 10 years ago multiple times It is haunted, I passed by there today everything is fenced up and the cleared off all surrounding brush for visibility they even made a parking lot not sure what they are doing there but it is very hard to get in now not like back in the day.
Me and my buddies still get in through a cut in the fence in the bush area , gotta jump a small fence then to the left is the cut , go at night and don’t park car in front of neighbors house so it’s less obvious
I worked at the st . John's when it was a drug rehab program I would spend the night there and would even sleep in the basement, and abandoned dorm rooms and I've experienced all types of paranormal activities in my life .. .but there is nothing haunted there seriously it's just old
Whats with the hot wells? I went to st johns in 2021 that place looked nothing like this. I went in to p. A strange man in a car was it & creepy as hell.
Growing up in the Southside of SanAntonio,Tx we use to go explore the "insane asylum" at nite dude it was creepy like in 2006 then they fenced it up shortly after that tou use to be able to walk in it
@Tiger rivers the neighbor never shot at you! He would blast the gun in the air to alarm the sheriff in the area that their were trespassers at the asylum, and he only shot it when it was outta control and too many people
rivers house still there occupied I went by recently about 2 months ago, asylum gotts bobbed wired fence with a gate code looks kinda of like a piece of the tyc
Yes was on the grounds when it was a drug rehab The stories its was a Nun and Priest convent And found dead bodies/babies in threw the wall while do some remodeling I myself experienced some haunted paranormal activity’s Was always scared being there alone You know that place is Haunted just stepping ground there the place is alive

I agree,I don't want to hear background music, I want to hear about the places
Most explorer's won't give exact locations other then the city in fear of others going to vandalize the site.

Where is the abandoned hospital located?
Farm rd, off of Southton rd south of 410
The grounds & bldg are owned by Sherrifs dept. Now. Take precaution because they will arrest you for trespassing
